What is the Benton County Call Center?
The Benton County Call Center is part of the Emergency Management Volunteer Corps (EMVC). Trained local volunteers answer phones and help the community during emergencies and disasters. During large emergencies, 911 Dispatch can become very busy with life-threatening calls. Emergency Management can activate the Call Center to answer non-emergency questions from the public, such as evacuation information, shelter locations, and general safety tips, keeping 911 lines open for people needing emergency help right away.

Where else can I access non-emergency information?
At the start of an emergency or incident, we will activate an incident management website focused on evacuation levels, shelter information, pet and livestock sheltering, and safety information. We will publish the webpage on all of our social media platforms, and will notify the public using Linn-Benton ALERT, and Flash Alert.
