Benton County Call Center

The communities contact for non-emergency information during an emergency.

Call 541-766-6200; only active during an emergency.

What is the Benton County Call Center?

The Benton County Call Center is part of the Emergency Management Volunteer Corps (EMVC). Our trained local volunteers are prepared to support the community by answering calls during emergencies and disasters. When a major incident occurs, 911 Dispatch can quickly become overwhelmed—balancing life-threatening emergencies and a surge of non-emergency calls from the public. To help, Emergency Management may activate the Call Center to handle non-emergency questions, such as evacuation guidance, shelter locations, and general safety information. This allows 911 Dispatch to stay focused on critical emergency response efforts.

Where else can I access non-emergency information?

At the start of an emergency or incident, we will activate an incident management website focused on evacuation levels, shelter information, pet and livestock sheltering, and safety information. We will publish the webpage on all of our social media platforms, and will notify the public using Linn-Benton ALERT, and Flash Alert.
