Liquor License Endorsement – Business License
Liquor License Endorsement – Business License
How to Apply for a New Business License
Follow these steps to apply for a new business license:
- Determine the type of permit you need. Find information and the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) Local Government Recommendation form through the CAMP system on the OLCC website.
- Complete the required OLCC license information through CAMP.
- If your business is in an unincorporated area of Benton County, complete the Benton County Liquor License Endorsement Application. Attach a copy of the OLCC Local Government Recommendation form.
- Submit your completed application, the OLCC Local Government Recommendation form, and your fees to Benton County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) at:
Benton County Sheriff’s Office
ATTN: Liquor License
180 NW 5th Street
Corvallis, OR 97330
How to Renew an Existing Business License
Liquor licenses require annual renewal. If you hold a current license and your business is in an unincorporated area of Benton County, expect renewal notices from both OLCC and the Sheriff’s Office. These letters arrive every spring.
To renew, first submit your renewal to OLCC. The CAMP system will auto-fill your application form, making it ready to download and print. You do not need to submit an endorsed application back to OLCC.
Next, submit these documents to the Sheriff’s Office by the deadline in your renewal letter:
- OLCC Local Government Recommendation form
- Benton County Liquor License Endorsement Application
- Renewal fee
What to do if Your Business Information Changes
After receiving your license, submit any business information changes through both OLCC and our office. Changes include business name, ownership or co-ownership, and address.
To submit a change:
- Complete the Benton County Liquor License Endorsement Application.
- Attach a copy of the OLCC Local Government Recommendation form printed from the OLCC CAMP system.
- Submit these documents along with your change fees to our office (see address above).
