What does a Reserve Deputy do?

A Reserve Deputy who is fully trained and commissioned can do just about everything our Patrol Deputies do. That’s why Reserves must meet the exacting selection, training, and assessment qualifications that Patrol Deputies go through.

Being a BCSO Reserve Deputy is a great way to gain experience and see if a career in law enforcement is for you. If you already have a career you love, being a Reserve Deputy is a fun, positive way to give back to your community.
