WE’RE HIRING! The Benton County Sheriff’s Office is recruiting for a Jail Deputy.

The Jail Deputy position maintains the order, discipline and security of the County Jail, assists in the processing of persons into and release persons from the jail within established guidelines, documents daily events and activities and maintain current and accurate custody information, maintains relations and addresses needs of attorneys, court and the general public, and performs other work as required.

Testing for this position is required. Both the POST and ORPAT tests will be offered on

 ***Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the Benton County Fairgrounds starting at 8:00am. ***

Previous POST and ORPAT test results will be accepted if they’ve been completed within 1 year.
