Emergency Operations Plan (EOP)

Benton County Emergency Operations Plan (EOP)
The Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) is a document that describes how Benton County plans to organize and respond to emergencies and disasters in the community.
No plan can anticipate every situation or condition that may arise during an emergency. Still, Benton County needs a plan that provides general guidance and a common framework. The Benton County EOP provides that guidance as an all-hazards plan.
This EOP uses NIMS and ICS as the framework for County emergency management. It helps guide the County when an emergency is bigger or more complex than routine operations can handle.
The latest version of the EOP was adopted in October 2024.
