Join us each month for a FREE, hands-on session focused on local emergencies and disasters. We will discuss real-world scenarios, share practical preparedness tips, and practice essential CERT skills to help you stay ready, informed, and connected!

March Topic: Are You Ready for a Flood?

Agenda highlights include:

  • Hazard review: flash flooding, low-lying area flooding, and secondary hazards (downed power lines, contaminated water, structural instability)
  • Community Emergency Response Team skills- no certificate or experience required!
  • Preparedness skills: wound care, safety basics
