Listed below are recent incidents responded to by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office. This report does not reflect all Sheriff’s Office activities and is updated as time and personnel allow.
Any arrest and complaint information included below is based on the legal conclusion that, as with any criminal case, a charge is merely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
| DOG BITE – On Saturday, November 15th, 2025, at approximately 10:30 AM, deputies responded to a reported dog bite in the 7700 block of NW Skillings Drive. A resident reported that her neighbor`s dog had bitten her. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On 11/14/2025 at approximately 4:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of Monroe Avenue in Corvallis for a trespassing complaint. Deputies contacted Misty Brown, 43, seated outside the business. Brown had 5 active warrants for her arrest. Brown was subsequently issued citations and lieu of custody and Brown was moved along from the property. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On 11/06/2025 at approximately 6:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Conifer Boulevard and Conser Street for a report of a single vehicle crash with no injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the crash, and his vehicle was towed out of the small ditch. There was little to no damage to his vehicle or any property. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On November 5, 2025, at about 1:32 p.m., deputies responded to a single traffic crash on NE Granger Ave about a quarter mile west of NE Highway 20. The driver over accelerated on the wet roadway and slid into a roadside ditch coming to rest in a field. |
| CONTEMPT OF COURT – On November 17, 2025, deputies cited Dylan Wambolt, 27, for nineteen violations of his no contact order. Wambolt was currently incarcerated at the Benton County Jail and was served his citation there. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On 11/13/2025 at approximately 10:00 am, deputies served an eviction paper in the 3400 block of SE Midvale Drive in south Corvallis. The tenant that was supposed to get evicted was not home, but an adult male named Luke Ludwig, 40, was there. Ludwig had an active Felony Warrant for a Parole Violation. Deputies transported Ludwig to the jail where he was lodged on the PV warrant. There was an additional municipal court warrant on file for Ludwig. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On November 6, 2025, at approximately 12:15AM, deputies observed a vehicle driving past them and recognized Cody AVILLA, 34. Deputies knew AVILLA had recently had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and had a suspended driver`s license. Dispatch confirmed Cody AVILLA had an outstanding Clackamas County Circuit Court Warrant for Failure to Appear-DUII. Deputies contacted AVILLA on his porch and transported him to the Benton County Jail where he was booked and lodged. |
| π On November 7, 2025, deputies arrested Hunter Ryan Crawford McCord, 21 of Albany, for DUII, Driving While Suspended, Reckless Driving, and several warrants. π On November 8, 2025, deputies arrested David John Davis, 72, of Corvallis, for DUII and Reckless Driving. π On November 9, 2025, deputies arrested Ethan Beau Bonner, 21, of Lake Oswego, for DUII and Reckless Driving. π On November 10, 2025, deputies arrested Barry Allen Nelson, 61, of Burns, for DUII. |
| CONTEMPT OF COURT – On November 14, 2025, deputies issued Bryan Hortt, 43, a citation in lieu of custody for Contempt of Court for Violating his No Contact Release agreement. He was in jail at the time of service. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On Thursday, November 13, 2025, at about 5:35 pm, a driver was traveling south on Kings Valley Highway near Labare Road outside of Philomath towing a GMC Denali flatbed pickup truck using a towbar connected to the Denali`s front bumper. The bumper of the Denali detached and the Denali ran off the west side of the highway into a tree. No one was in the Denali when it crashed. The driver was not injured or impaired at the time of the crash. The Denali, which was heavily damaged during the crash, was towed from the scene. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On November 13, 2025, at about 7:04 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 200 NW 53rd Street in Corvallis for a report of Trespassing. The resident said that Sheila Swanson, 39, had shown up to her trailer at about 3:00 a.m., and was knocking on the door even though she knew she was not welcome. Sheila was arrested and taken to the Benton County Jail where she was ultimately cited and released in lieu of custody for two misdemeanor warrants out of Douglas County Circuit Court and one felony warrant out of Jackson County Circuit Court. |
| DWS MIS – On 11/13/2025 at about 12:02 am, Craig Snyder (47) of Crawfordsville, was criminally cited for driving while suspended misdemeanor following a traffic stop near 820 NW 9th St. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On 11/12/2025 at about 12:02 am, Craig Snyder, 47, and Caitlin Mcelmurry, 33, were criminally cited for outstanding warrants in the parking lot of the Wild Side Smoke Shop in Corvallis. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On 11/12/2025 at approximately 1:49 pm, deputies responded to a non-injury crash on Highway 180 near milepost 18. A male was operating a box truck loaded with food, traveling west on Highway 180. He lost control of the truck after he drove off the paved roadway. The truck came to rest against a tree. No injuries were reported and the truck was towed. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On November 12, 2025, at about 12:30PM, deputies were in the area of SW Wake Robin Avenue and SW Pickford Street, Corvallis. Deputies saw a male they recognized as Wendell Stephens, 58, riding a bicycle. Stephens was later arrested for his parole and probation warrant and for a new crime of failure to register as a sex offender. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On November 12, 2025, at about 10:45 a.m., deputies were patrolling near Wake Robin Avenue and Pickford Street in Corvallis when they observed Jordan Reeves, 35, exit a vehicle that was parked in front of 350 SW Wake Robin Ave. Reeves eventually tried crawling through an attic space to make an escape, but he became tired while suspended about ten feet in the air and cried out for help from deputies. Deputies made entry into the unit and removed boards from the wall to be able to access Reeves. Reeves was taken into custody and lodged at the Benton County Jail for eight different warrants out of three different Counties. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On November 11, 2025, at approximately 5:34 PM, deputies contacted Fred Dodson, 30, near NW 5th Street and NW Jackson Avenue. Dodson was arrested on a felony parole board warrant for parole violation. Dodson was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged on his warrant. |
| FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER – On November 11, 2025, deputies spoke with a resident in the 24000 block of Highway 20, Philomath, regarding a vehicle hitting and damaging her Republic Services garbage can. The resident told deputies she placed the can on the side of the road Sunday night and noticed it had been hit earlier that morning. No suspect information. |
| HARASSMENT – On November 10, 2025, at approximately 10:00 PM, deputies contacted a female regarding a complaint by her ex-husband that she was harassing him over the phone despite repeated requests for her to no longer contact him. The female understood that she was no longer allowed to contact her ex-husband and agreed to refrain from future telephonic and electronic communications with him. She was made aware that future complaints would be handled as a criminal matter and result in misdemeanor telephonic harassment charges. |
| RUNAWAY JUVENILE – On November 8, 2025, at 12:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 24300 block of Maxfield Creek Rd for a report of a runaway juvenile. Deputies responded to the residence and contacted mother, who stated the juvenile had run away sometime between 9am and 12 pm. At approximately 2:37 pm, a male located the juvenile walking southbound on HWY 223, near Price Creek Rd. Deputies transported the juvenile back to their residence. |
| UUV; FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER; IDENTITY THEFT; DWS MIS – On November 6, 2025, deputies contacted Steven Young, 31, at Hyak Park regarding a driving complaint. Young provided a false name of Ethan Montgomery. Subsequent investigation showed Young was driving a stolen 2026, Toyota Tundra from Toyota of Corvallis. Young was arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail for DWS Misdemeanor, False Information to Police, Identity Theft and Unlawful Use of a Vehicle. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On November 6, 2025, at around 3:00 pm, deputies were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle parked on BLM property off Botkin Road. They later contacted the dark blue 2004 Chevrolet conversion van and determined the owner, James Lamb, 57, was legally camped. Deputies later issued Lamb a criminal citation in lieu of custody for a Corvallis Municipal Court warrant for Failure to appear for Animal Cruelty. |
| RECKLESS ENDANGERING; DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING; WARRANT ARREST β On 11/06/2025 in the 300 block of NW 2nd St, Corvallis at approximately 1:30 am, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2011 Toyota Camry. They contacted the operator of the vehicle, Ryan Seib, 29, and requested he perform SFSTs. Seib consented and deputies developed probable cause to arrest Seib for DUII-Drugs, Reckless Driving, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. Seib also had multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest. Taylah Parr, 24, the front passenger, also had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Seib was lodged at Benton County Jail and Parr was cited and released. |
| WARRANT ARREST β On November 5, 2025, at approximately 5:43 PM, deputies contacted Zachary Shinall, 27, in a pullout off Highway 99W near Greenberry Road. Shinall was arrested on a warrant out of the Linn County Justice Court for misdemeanor driving while suspended. The Linn County Jail provided a court date and Shinall was issued a citation to appear in lieu of custody. |
| ASSAULT 4; ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY – On November 3, 2025, at approximately 9:08 PM, deputies responded to Kelly Street & N 7th Street, Monroe for a pedestrian hit by a car. Monroe Fire was on scene and treating the pedestrian upon the arrival of deputies. The pedestrian was transported to the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center to be treated for sustained injuries. The driver of the car, Talon West, 32, stated his windshield wipers did not work properly, and he did not see the pedestrian walking near the should of the road. West was cited for violation driving while suspended, driving with no insurance, and operation of an unsafe vehicle. West was later arrested for Assault for criminally negligent injury of a pedestrian on a public way. |
| HARASSMENT – On October 28,2025, at approximately 10:27 PM, deputies responded to a residence on Berg Drive, Adair Village for a reported domestic disturbance. The resident and his former girlfriend had an argument, and he pushed her down after she started slamming doors. The resident allowed his former girlfriend to collect her cat and her belongings. Deputies remained on scene while she removed her cat and other items from the house. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On October 20, 2025, at approximately 1:32 PM, deputies stopped a red Ford Focus for observed traffic violations near SW 3rd Street and SW Avery Avenue, Corvallis. The driver, Elijah Winney, 19, was arrested on a warrant out of the Albany Municipal Court for failure to appear on a probation violation. Winney was issued a citation in lieu of custody with a court date for his warrant and traffic citations for his traffic violations. |
| BCSO ANIMAL OTHER β On November 11, 2025, deputies were made aware of an inappropriate internet posting regarding a threat to shoot feral cats. Deputies made contact with the author who assured deputies she posted in anger and has not/will not shoot cats. |
| DOG AT LARGE – On November 11, 2025, at approximately 3:00am, deputies located a missing dog in the 24500 block of Decker Rd. The dog had run away from nearby and the owner came and picked it up. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On 11/9/2025 at around 12:50 PM, Vehicle #1 was eastbound on Hwy 20 approaching NE Conifer Blvd. Vehicle #2 was traveling eastbound on Hwy 20, stopped for the traffic light at NE Conifer Blvd. Vehicle #1 was distracted by his passenger and the radio and he failed to see the traffic was stopped in front of him. Vehicle #1 ran into the back of Vehicle #2. Vehicle #1 had to be towed due to the damage from the crash. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On November 11, 2025, at approximately 2:40am, deputies responded to the intersection of SW Madison Ave. and SW 5th St. to assist with a traffic stop. They contacted a male nearby, Travis Feist, 38, who was the subject of an active Linn County Warrant. He was issued a new court date in lieu of custody. |
| ESCAPE 3 – On November 7, 2025, at approximately 10:27 am, deputies were dispatched to a wanted subject, Clifford Reyes Sr., 60, in the 5100 block of HWY 20, Corvallis, OR. Clifford was contacted in the driveway of the residence but ran inside. Deputies located and arrested him on November 10 and transported him to the Benton County Jail. |
| DWS FEL – On Saturday, November 8, 2025, at approximately 11:48 am, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a red 2002 Chevy S10 at 277 S. 13th Street after discovering the registered owner, who they saw driving, had a revoked driver`s license at the felony level. Deputies arrested Cecil Schrader, 64, for Driving While Suspended or Revoked. He was released with a citation. |
| FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; WARRANT ARREST – On November 7, 2025, at approximately 5:20 PM, deputies stopped Jeremiah Jones, 36, on Philomath Boulevard near Blueberry Drive in Corvallis. Jones was riding a bicycle on the highway without a rear reflector or headlight. Jones provided a false name. Jones had a confirmed felony warrant out of Benton County Parole and Probation for probation violation. Jones was arrested and methamphetamine was found on his person. Jones was lodged at the Benton County Jail for the probation violation warrant. Jones was additionally charged with giving false information to a peace officer and for possession of methamphetamine. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On November 7, 2025, at 3:00 pm, a female called in to report a traffic crash that occurred at about 2:30 pm on HWY 20, near Springer Rd. The involved drivers had exchanged information and were no longer on scene. |
| DUII; RECKLESS DRIVING; DWS MIS; WARRANT ARREST – On Friday November 7, 2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a silver 2008 Honda Accord on Pettibone Drive and Granger Avenue for traffic violations. Following an investigation, the driver, Hunter Ryan Crawford McCord, 21, was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving while suspended, reckless driving, and several fail to appear warrants. The passenger, Jordyn Adele Taylor-Brown, 23, was arrested for a fail to appear warrant and later issued criminal citation in lieu of custody. McCord was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On 11/06/2025 at approximately 11:50 P.M., deputies contacted Bryan John Smith, 58, and Christopher Mark Woodruff, 51, near 3rd Street and Monroe Avenue in Corvallis. Smith and Woodruff had set up a tent in the garage of a local business, directly under a `no trespassing` sign. Both Smith and Woodruff had several active warrants for their arrest. Smith and Woodruff were ultimately issued citations in lieu of custody and released at the scene. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On November 1, 2025, at around 9:00pm, deputies observed a male dangerously walking on the white fog line in low light conditions along Highway 20 near Milepost 2. They stopped and identified the male as Kevin Shane Stevens-Jackson, 26, and later issued him a criminal citation in lieu of custody for an Albany Municipal Court warrant for FTA- Fail to appear. |
| CONTEMPT OF COURT – On October 30, 2025, deputies took a report at the Benton County Jail of a violation of a No Contact Order and cited Jesse Dale Davison, 40, for Contempt of Court x17. |
| DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2; HARASSMENT – On Friday, October 24, 2025, at around 10:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to an unknown problem occurring at the Benton County Fairgrounds. Ivan Hokland, 18, was cited and released after fighting with and spitting on security at an event. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Sunday, October 19, 2025, at approximately 1:30am, deputies stopped Joseph Bagg, 41, on Highway 20 near Mile Post 7, Corvallis, for a traffic violation. While running a check on his license and wanted status, deputies learned he had a cite and release warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court for theft II. Deputies issued him a citation in lieu of custody for the warrant into the Lebanon Municipal Court and cleared the traffic stop. |
| THEFT 1 – On Saturday, October 18, 2025, at approximately 11:30pm, deputies were dispatched to a reported theft of a cell phone that occurred in the 3000 NE Garden Ave, Corvallis. Deputies recovered the device for the reporting party who was not interested in pursuing charges. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On October 7th, 2025, at around 7:33AM, deputies responded to the 20600 block of HWY 20 for a report of a crash. Upon arrival they determined a white F150 had struck something and had heavy front-end damage. The truck had blue paint transfer (Possibly a log truck or similar). The truck was unoccupied and towed. No other involved vehicles were located at the scene and no one called to report the crash the previous night or early morning. |

| WARRANT ARREST – On November 7, 2025, at 1:21 AM, deputies stopped Nicole Patterson, 28, for expired vehicle registration on SW Avery Drive near SW Philomath Boulevard in Corvallis. Patterson was driving while suspended violation and driving uninsured. Patterson was cited for the traffic violations and issued a new court date for a warrant out of the Albany Municipal Court for Fail to Appear/ False Information to a Peace Officer. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On November 6, 2025, at 2:54 pm, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle traffic crash on NW Walnut Blvd, south of NW Fair Oaks Dr. The driver was southbound on Walnut Blvd when she struck a deer attempting to cross the road. |
| IDENTITY THEFT – On November 6, 2025, at 9:22 am, deputies were dispatched to contact a resident about identity theft. He reported receiving a fraud alert on his credit card. Upon further investigation, he found an unknown subject(s) attempted to open three credit cards using his social security number. He placed a freeze on his credit and reviewed his credit report. All three attempts were unsuccessful. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On November 6, 2025, at 7:47 am, deputies were dispatched to the West Hills/53rd St roundabout for a single vehicle crash. The driver had just exited the roundabout, southbound on 53rd St. He lost control of his vehicle, due to heavy acceleration, and entered the west ditch. He was able to pull his vehicle from the ditch and drive it away from the scene. |
| ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ – On November 5, 2025, at about 5:35 p.m., deputies observed two vehicles that had been involved in a crash on Kings Boulevard, just to the South of Harison Boulevard in Corvallis. Both drivers advised they were not injured. Driver 1 stated that she was traveling Westbound in her 2022 silver Ford Edge. She stated that she turned Southbound with a green light into the leftmost lane of travel when her Ford lost traction and slid into a Toyota that was traveling Eastbound on Harrison and had also turned South. Driver 2 stated that she was driving East on Harrison Boulevard in her grey 2016 Toyota Rav4. Driver 2 stated that she turned South on Kings Boulevard with a green light into the rightmost lane when a silver Ford slid into her Toyota. The Ford`s front passenger door was smashed in and the glass shattered. The Toyota had damage to the front driver`s side bumper. |
| ANIMAL/DOG COMPLAINT – On November 5, 2025, at 1:17 pm, deputies were dispatched to the office of the Knoll Terrace Mobile Home Community located at 5055 NE Elliott Cir. A tenant turned in a found dog (blond long hair terrier, 10 lbs.), which deputies transported to heartland humane society. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On November 4, 2025, around 5:30PM, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash near the intersection of Highway 20 and Rondo Street, Albany. It was reported a two-vehicle crash occurred in the area and the vehicles were partially blocking the highway. Driver one said he slammed on the brakes of his Econoline van and may have barely hit driver twoβs Lexus. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On 11/04/2025 at approximately 8:53 am, deputies responded to a road struck deer on Highway 20 near Priest Road. Upon arrival, they learned this was a non-injury crash that was reportable. The deer was salvaged by a fortuitous hunter passing by. |
| ANIMAL/DOG COMPLAINT – On 10/31/2025 at approximately 10:45 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 30800 block of Peterson Road in Philomath for a report of a captured dog without a collar. The dog was subsequently taken to Heartland Humane Society for identification. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On 10/31/2025 at approximately 3:00 A.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of 53rd Street and NW Carriage House Place for a report of a single vehicle crash without injuries. When deputies arrived, they contacted the driver in the Benton County Fairgrounds parking lot. His vehicle was moderately damaged from striking a curb. He was not impaired and said he would get his own tow in the morning. There was no damage to public / private property, and no citations were issued. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On 10/25/2025 at about 2:44 am Caitlin Mcelmurry (33) of Corvallis, was criminally cited on outstanding warrants as a passenger during a traffic stop near the intersection of NW Hwy 99W and NE Granger Ave. |
| ASSAULT 4 – On 10/24/2025 at about 10:09 pm, deputies responded to the Benton County Fairgrounds for a 19-year-old male who was assaulted at a rap concert. The male was transported to the Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment and there are no current suspects at this time. |
| π On October 31, 2025, deputies arrested Gabriel Daniel Gillmet, 18, of Tangent, for DUII and Reckless Driving. π On October 31, 2025, deputies arrested Andrea Michelle Handy, 45, of Albany, for DUII and Reckless Endangering. π On November 1, 2025, deputies arrested Jimmy Ray Valsin, 22, of Corvallis, for DUII and Reckless Driving. π On November 1, 2025, deputies arrested Robert Henry Foster, 51, of Connecticut, for DUII, Reckless Driving, Tampering with Evidence, and Contempt of Court. π On November 2, 2025, deputies arrested Tristan Arcer Davies, 21, of Corvallis, for DUII. π On November 2, 2025, deputies arrested Peter Michael Russo, 56, of Dundee, for DUII and Reckless Driving. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On Monday, November 3rd, 2025, at approximately 4:23 PM, deputies responded to a reported non-injury vehicle accident at Highway 99W Milepost 95. The driver reported her horse trailer had lost a tire. The horses were not injured in the crash. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On October 30, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Anthony Stalford, 38, was arrested in the 1300 block of NW 9th Street in Corvallis, Oregon, for a failure to appear warrant issued by the Lebanon Municipal Court. Salford was criminally cited and released. |
| DWS MIS; WARRANT ARREST – On October 29th, 2025, at about 1:29 am, deputies initiated a traffic stop in the parking lot of 2300 NW Kings Blvd in Corvallis, on a grey 2002 Toyota Corolla. The driver of the vehicle, Christian Riley, 47, was arrested for Driving While Revoked Misdemeanor and an Albany Municipal Court warrant for Failure to Appear. Riley was criminally cited and released. |
| DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 – On 10/24/2025 at approximately 10:54 pm, deputies were at the Benton County Fairgrounds when they encountered what appeared to be multiple people fighting. They contacted two of the involved individuals, who had both been pepper sprayed. They were evaluated by Corvallis Fire and deputies were unable to locate any of the other involved individuals. |
| FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER – On October 19, 2025, at approximately 8:45pm, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a black Ford Focus at highway 20 near milepost 48. The driver, Homero Concha, 23, provided a fake name and was subsequently arrested for Providing False Information to a Peace Officer. |
| ASSAULT 4 – On Sunday, October 19th, 2025, at approximately 1:20 PM, deputies responded to a domestic dispute on NW Springhill Drive, Albany. A juvenile was cited for hitting a parent. |
| POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; DWS MIS; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE – On October 13, 2025, at around 8:06 pm, deputies stopped Tony Delos Adams, 57, at NW 9th St and NW Grant Ave for operating a vehicle without required lighting. Delos was later arrested for DWS Misdemeanor and Possession of Meth. The passenger, Charlotte Marie Risland, 58, was arrested for Possession of Meth. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On November 2nd, 2025, at around 11:55AM, deputies located Alexander Tally, 20, sitting on a bench near the waterfront at 1st Street and Madison Street. Deputies knew that Tally had a Benton County Circuit Court warrant for failing to appear on an aggravated ID theft. | FAIL TO REGISTER SEX OFFENDER – On October 31, at about 8:00 a.m., deputies were dispatched to Monroe Cemetery Road in Monroe for a vehicleβs license plate that did not match the Ford it was on. During the investigation, they discovered the registered owner of the Ford, Benjamin Hardt, 44, was a registered sex offender who was out of compliance. Deputies issued Hardt a citation in lieu of custody for failing to report and released him at the scene. |
| CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 – On October 31, 2025, at 3:37 pm, deputies were dispatched to Hwy 20, east of Rondo, for a report of a trespass. The reporter stated an occupied homeless encampment was on private property. Deputies responded to the area and contacted a male from Brookings, who believed he was a general in the Army and claimed the property belonged to him. Deputies told him if he didnβt leave, he would be arrested for trespassing. The male grabbed a few belongings and left westbound, on a bicycle. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On October 31, 2025, at about 2:55 p.m., deputies were patrolling in Monroe when they made a traffic stop on a tan 1989 Geo Tracker. The driver, Tyler Jarred, 32, was arrested on a warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court for Failure to appear on a Criminal Mischief 2 charge. Jarred was transported and lodged at the Benton County Jail, and his Geo was left at the scene. |
| DWS MIS – On Friday, October 31, 2025, at approximately 1:29 pm, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a gray 2021 Jeep Cherokee on NW 13th Street near NW Walnut Boulevard. The driver, Elana Pederson, 38, was arrested for Driving While Suspended-Misdemeanor. She was released with a citation. |
| SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT(S) – On October 30, 2025, at 3:10 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 29100 block of Carey-Fox Rd for a report of trespassers. The resident received information from his nephew that two male subjects were trespassing on Carey-Fox Rd. He sent the resident a photo of these two people, which was forwarded to deputies. Deputies drove through the area and did not see them or any vehicles they would be associated with. |
| THEFT 2 LOST/MISLAID PROPERTY – On October 25, 2025, at 2:52 pm, a male reported someone stole his backpack at the County Fairgrounds. Inside was his Samsung S20 cellphone, ebt card, earbuds, $100 cash, a driver`s license, gold flash drive and two pairs of gloves. His cellphone, driver`s license, ebt card and library card were later turned in as found property. These items were returned to the victim. |
| ASSAULT 4; MINOR IN POSS OF LIQUOR; DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 – On October 24, 2025, at approximately 11:55 PM, deputies arrested Jaimie Harrel, 18, for Assault in the Fourth Degree and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree. Harrel was kicked out of a rap concert at the Benton County Fairgrounds. He punched a female in the face without provocation and attempted to start fights with people in the parking lot. Harrel was lodged at the Benton County Jail and cited for Minor in Possession of Alcohol. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On October 24, 2025, at around 7:55pm, deputies encountered a noninjury motor vehicle crash involving three vehicles along Highway 20, near Milepost 2. Deputies later determined a driver was following too closely when she rear-ended vehicles that had slowed and stopped. |
| PERSON < 21 POSSESSING / CONSUMING MARIJUANA – On October 20, 2025, at approximately 11:38 am, deputies were dispatched to a narcotics offense at the Alsea School 301 3rd St. Alsea, OR. It was reported that a juvenile brought marijuana to school. A juvenile was cited for Minor in Possession-Marijuana. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On September 30th, 2025, at around 3:13 PM, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Springhill Dr. and Buena Vista Rd for a single vehicle into the ditch. The driver reported she was taking the turn onto Buena Vista Rd from Springhill when she lost traction and slid into the ditch causing front end damage. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On October 29, 2025, at about 8:07 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the south side of the Benton County Court House in Corvallis, for a report of a transient male that was asked to leave and had not. Deputies contacted a white male who was in the process of packing up his camp. The male identified himself as Damien Taylor-Brown by his Oregon ID card. Taylor-Brown, 38, was cited and released for a warrant out of Albany Municipal Court and warned for Trespassing. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On October 28th, 2025, at around 12:44AM, deputies were conducting extra patrol in Monroe when a silver GMX Sonoma pickup passed them northbound on HWY 99W. Donald Lee Allen, 56, had a suspended license and a warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court for a probation violation – Forgery II. He was stopped near Alpine Rd and subsequently issued a citation for DWS violation, driving uninsured and was cited and released on his warrant. |
| WARRANT ARREST β On 10/24/2025 at approximately 10:17 pm, deputies observed two people on bicycles on SW West Hills Road. They initiated a traffic stop based on multiple bicycle violations and contacted Nathaniel Webb, 28, who had an outstanding cite and release warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court for Theft II. Deputies issued Webb his citation and warned both for their traffic violations. |
| THEFT 1 FRAUD – On October 25, 2025, at around 4:12pm, deputies were dispatched to the LEC Lobby for a report of fraud. A female reported fraudulent charges of over $18,000 on two bank accounts. |
| CUT/TRANSPORT FOREST PRODUCT – On October 22, 2025, at around 2:51pm, deputies were dispatched to a possible violation of specialty forest product laws along the BLM 13-7-15 RD, near Flat Mountain. Deputies later arrested and issued criminal citations to Cecilia Perez Rubio, 47, and Audiel Hernandez Meza, 45, for Unlawful Harvest of Specialty Forest Products. Deputies seized approximately 12 crates and two 5-gallon buckets full of trimmed and processed Chantrelle mushrooms. The mushrooms were donated to the Philomath Community Gleaners for distribution. |
| THEFT 3 SHOPLIFT; WARRANT ARREST – On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at about 11:22 a.m., a store employee in Adair called in to report shoplift by CHRISTOPHER HINTON, 40. Hinton was cited and released for this theft, and an outstanding Municipal Court Warrant out of Troutdale Municipal Court. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On 10/22/2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a white 2000 GMC Yukon near 4300 NE Hwy 20 and contacted the operator of the vehicle, Derrek Reynolds, 57, who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The issuing jurisdiction provided a court date and so deputies cited and released Reynolds. |

Deputies later arrested Riley for Driving While Revoked-Misdemeanor, and Lebanon Municipal Court warrant. |
| FALSE INFO TO POLICE – On 10/30/2025 at about 1:59 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of NE 2nd St and NE Rennie Pl, Corvallis. The back seat male passenger was not wearing a seatbelt. The male provided false information about his name. He was positively identified as Kyle Stewart, 38. Kyle was arrested for giving false info to police. He was cited and released on scene. |
| CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1 VANDALISM – On October 23rd, 2025, deputies were dispatched to a report of Criminal Mischief at the Benton County Jail. It was reported that an adult in custody, Joseph Miller, 46, had destroyed the interlining of a holding cell at the Benton County Jail. Miller was criminally cited for Criminal Mischief in the First Degree. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Saturday, October 25, 2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a silver 2011 Nissan Versa for a violation. The driver, Jennifer Standish, 51, was arrested for a fail to appear warrant. Standish was later issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody and released. |
| ABANDONED VEHICLE – On October 25, 2025, at 9 am, deputies were approached by a citizen who wanted to report a dumped vehicle off Starr Creek Rd. Deputies responded to the area and located a white Subaru wagon, in a ditch off a Hull Oaks spur Rd, approximately 2.5 miles up Starr Creek. The vehicle belonged to a male, who deputies contacted by phone. He reported on October 23, his vehicle went into the ditch while mushroom hunting. He planned to retrieve his vehicle, likely that day. He was warned if the vehicle wasnβt retrieved in a few days, he could be cited for abandonment. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On October 24, 2025, at 5:39 PM, I stopped Timothy Benton, 43, on 9th Street near Sequoia Avenue in Corvallis for driving while suspended violation. Benton did not have insurance for the vehicle. Benton was cited for traffic violations and for an Albany cite and release warrant. Benton`s vehicle was parked in the bike lane and northbound lane of travel. The vehicle was towed as a hazard. |
| THEFT 2 – On October 24, 2025, at approximately 8:56 am, deputies were dispatched to a theft in the 900 block of Ash St. Monroe. A male stated someone stole his porta potty. A port-a-potty company accidentally picked it up and made plans to return it. |
| FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER; ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On October 24, 2025, at 6:38 am, a resident reported his father was involved in a hit and run crash in the roundabout at SW West Hills Rd and SW 53rd St, at approximately 6:20 am. It was reported the driver of the other vehicle handed the father $450 and left the scene without exchanging any further information. At 7:40 am, deputies met with father at his residence. His vehicle sustained front end damage, the point of impact was the driver`s side headlight area. The father did not know exactly how the crash occurred or what part of the other vehicle he had collided with. Deputies directed the father to complete a DMV Crash Report since the damage was in excess of $2500. |

| FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER; ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On October 22, 2025, at 7:23 am, deputies was dispatched to Decker Rd, east of Peterson Rd, for a report of a single vehicle, rollover crash. The caller reported the vehicle was unoccupied and he had damaged two of his filbert trees. The vehicle had been westbound on Decker Rd, when it failed to negotiate a left-hand curve. The truck struck a chevron warning sign and a Pioneer telephone junction box before rolling onto its top in the orchard. The pickup truck was not currently registered, but law enforcement records show a male was associated with it in 2023. The vehicle was towed from the scene. At 8:44 am, deputies learned the vehicle had been stolen out of Albany. |

She was subsequently cited in lieu of custody on her warrant. Deputies explained the court date and time for her to appear and ended contact after issuing a citation. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Sunday, October 19, 2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a maroon 2002 Buick sedan for violations on Harrison Boulevard near 17th Street. The driver, JD Harris, 43, was arrested for a fail to appear warrant. Harris was later issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody and released. |
| CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 – On Saturday, October 18, 2025, at approximately 10:13 pm, deputies witnessed two females, later identified as Meichi Neilson, 21, and Doris Nash, 21, standing near the northwest side of the Benton County Jail. Following an investigation, they were both arrested for criminal mischief and later issued criminal citations in lieu of custody then released. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Saturday, October 18, 2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a black 2006 Jeep for violations on Kings Boulevard and Monroe Avenue. The driver, Mason Henderson, 24, was later arrested for a Polk County warrant. Mason was transported to the Polk County Jail and lodged. |
| FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER; IDENTITY THEFT; POSS FENTANYL (< 1G/5PILLS); WARRANT ARREST – On Saturday, October 18, 2025, at about 1:45am, deputies arrested Crystal Mayo Palomo, 33, on a felony warrant out of Lincoln County and for several Benton County crimes, to include Giving False Information to a Police Officer and Unlawful Possession of Fentanyl. Palomo was taken to the Lincoln County Jail and lodged on her warrant. |
| RECKLESS DRIVING; ELUDE VEHICLE; DWS MIS – On Saturday October 17, 2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a silver 2005 Volkswagen Jetta Wagon on Highway 20 near milepost 7 for a violation. The driver, later identified as Keaton Fielder, 30, chose not to stop and instead eluded. Fielder was later taken into custody after he ended up down an embankment with no further incident. Fielder was transported to the Benton County Jail where he was processed. |
| POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (< 2G); WARRANT ARREST – On October 10th, 2025, at about 12:04 am, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a blue 2006 Chrysler 300 near the intersection of NE Pettibone Dr and NE Logsdon Rd in Corvallis, Oregon. The driver of the vehicle, Joshua Gabell, 41, was arrested for three warrants and possession of methamphetamine. Gabell was transported and lodged at the Linn County Jail. |
| CRIMINAL IMPERSONATION; THEFT BY DECEPTION – On October 8th, 2025, at around 10:34AM, deputies responded to the Law Enforcement Center Lobby for a report of a fraud. A resident reported she had received a notification that her iCloud account had been hacked. She spoke with a male who identified himself as Federal agent Alvero Bedoya with the Federal Tracking Center. He told her that her IP address was used to obtain child pornography and was associated with packages of cocaine and that she needed to send the government money or her assets would be seized. She ultimately provided 2 wire transfers from her bank in the amount of $3700, and $2000. She also provided four Apple Everything gift cards with $500 each in funds. |
| HARASSMENT PHONE – On October 5, 2025, at approximately 9:47 am, deputies were dispatched to a harassment report in the 24000 HWY 20, Philomath, OR. A resident stated someone made a rude comment on her Facebook post. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On October 4, 2025, at about 10:00 PM, deputies were dispatched to an argument in the 3000 block of NE Garden Avenue. Deputies arrived and spoke with a male and female regarding a verbal argument they had due to parking confusion. The male, Zachary OLSEN, had a confirmed Albany Municipal Court Warrant for Fail to Appear- Criminal Trespass 2. Deputies issued OLSEN a criminal citation and determined no other crimes had occurred. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY – On September 30, 2025, around 6:45PM, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash, with reported injuries, at the intersection of 53rd Street and Reservoir Avenue, Corvallis. The driver was traveling in a white 2006 Dodge Sprinter van. Deputies issued him a traffic citation for Failing to Stop and Remain Stopped for a Pedestrian (ORS 811.028). His vehicle did not need to be towed and deputies released him with a citation. |

The driver Juan Carlos Avila-Grajales, 52, had a Misdemeanor warrant out of Linn County Justice Court for a probation Violation of DWS Misdemeanor. Deputies issued Juan a criminal citation in lieu of custody and released him at the scene. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at about 9:40pm, deputies arrested Magus Mac Morrow, 22, on Highway 20 near Independence Highway outside of Albany on multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants out of the Benton County Circuit Court. Morrow was taken to the Benton County Jail and lodged on his warrants. |

Allen was cited for Criminal Driving While Suspended and released. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On October 19, 2025, at 12:05 AM, deputies stopped a driver on NW Harrison Boulevard near NW 5th Street in Corvallis for no front plate. The front seat passenger Briana Jaeger, 34 had three confirmed cite and release warrants. Jaeger was issued new court dates. |
| RECKLESS ENDANGERING; RECKLESS DRIVING – On October 18, 2025, at 9:25 PM, deputies attempted to stop Tyquon Demere Worthen, 26, on Highway 99W near milepost 94 in Monroe. Worthen accelerated to 96 miles per hour and passed a vehicle at an unsafe speed with oncoming traffic. Worthen had an 8- day-old child inside the vehicle along with the child`s 22-year-old mother. Deputies arrested Worthen for Reckless Driving and two counts of Reckless Endangering. Worthen was additionally driving while suspended (violation level). Worthen was cited for the crimes and violations. |
| CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1 – On October 18, 2025, at 4:43 AM, deputies responded to the 8300 block of NW Buena Vista Road in Albany for a Trespass I. Upon arrival, the complaint said she left the house at 5:15 PM and returned home at about 4:30 AM. She said her driveway gate was open and the lights were left on inside the house. She and her boyfriend cleared the house and found no one inside. Nothing was missing, but someone went through multiple cabinets and drawers. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On October 17, 2025, at 1:49 pm, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury, single vehicle traffic crash on HWY 20, just east of the HWY 34 junction in Philomath. Driver 1 was eastbound on HWY 20 (towing a camper trailer), when he failed to notice a school bus stopped for the railroad tracks. As an evasive maneuver, he swerved right, into the south ditch where he crashed into an ODOT railroad warning sign and a chain-link fence. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY – On October 17, 2025, at approximately 11:55 am, deputies were dispatched to an injury vehicle crash at HWY 20 and Garden Ave. Corvallis. Driver 1 was stopped waiting for a vehicle to turn when driver 2 rear ended him. Driver 2 and his passenger both had minor injuries. All occupants were wearing their seat belts. Driver 1βs airbags deployed, and her vehicle was towed. Driver 2βs vehicle was drivable. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On October 17, 2025, at 1:53 AM, deputies stopped Thomas Burr James III, 61, on SE Twinn Oaks Circle near SE 3rd Street in Corvallis for making an unlawful lane change. James III was driving while suspended violation and did not have vehicle insurance. James III had a cite and release warrant out of Albany. The vehicle James III was driving was partially blocking the parking lot exit for a restaurant and was towed as a hazard. James III was cited for the violations and issued a new court date for his warrant. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY – On 10/16/2025 at approximately 7:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 20 near Milepost 2 for a report of a two-vehicle crash with injuries. When they arrived, both drivers were still on scene and the vehicles involved were off the roadway. One driver was transported to the hospital with suspected minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. One rear-ended the other driver while he was attempting to turn off the highway. The driver at fault was issued two citations for driving while suspended and driving without insurance. |

A protected party stated Suzanne Johanson, 69, violated a restraining order. Suzanne was arrested for Violation of a Restraining Order and lodged at the Benton County Jail. |

Upon arrival, they contacted the caller, who Norman reported two vehicles and an outbuilding had been broken into sometime between the evening of October 8, and morning of the 9th. The unknown suspect (s) stole approximately 5 gas powered saws. |

According to dispatch notes, someone drove to the residence, attempted to steal wood, then left. A report was taken and extra patrol requested in the area. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On Monday October 13, 2025, deputies were dispatched to the area of 39300 Luckiamute Road, Philomath for a reported non-injury crash. On arrival deputies spoke to the driver, who was uninjured and had driven off the road, overturning an empty log truck. The driver later contacted his company who arranged recovery of the vehicle. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On October 11, 2025, at approximately 11:32pm, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of SW 3rd St. and SE Kiger Island to assist an Oregon State Trooper. Deputies identified the female the Trooper was with as Maddison Bonczkowski, 24, who had a warrant for her arrest out of Albany. She was issued a new court date at the request of Albany. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On October 12, 2025, at 9:59 PM, deputies stopped Rebekah Rankin, 52, after they observed her drive through a stop sign at the intersection of NW Tyler Avenue and NW 2nd Street in Corvallis. Rankin had the following warrants for her arrest: warrant #1, Benton County Circuit Court, Failure to Appear/ DUII, No Bail; and warrant #2, Albany Municipal Court, Contempt of Court, No Bail. |
| PROPERTY RECOVERED FOR OTHER AGENCY – On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at about 6:45pm, deputies went to the 1400 block of NE Granger Avenue, Corvallis, and collected an abandoned bicycle They later determined the bicycle had been reported as stolen to the Corvallis Police Department in 2023. The bicycle was returned to its owner. |

Driver 1 was westbound on HWY 20, followed by driver 2. Driver 1 slammed on his brakes when he observed an animal coming out of the north ditch. Driver 2 also slammed on her brakes but was unable to stop in time and crashed into the back of driver 1. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at approximately 9:39 am, deputies were west on SW Airport Avenue near mile post 1 when they saw a gray 2009 Nissan Maxima parked in a hazelnut field near a porta-potty. Deputies spoke to the two occupants and learned one, Robert Ellis, 55, had a warrant. He was cited and released. |
| TOW, HAZARD – On October 11, 2025, at 2:03 AM, deputies stopped a vehicle on NW Kings Boulevard near NW Garfield Avenue in Corvallis. The driver was driving while suspended violation and driving uninsured. The vehicle was blocking the northbound lane of travel, so it was towed as a hazard. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Friday, October 10, 2025, at about 7:10pm, deputies arrested Joosung Lee, 23, at the Dixon Recreation Center, Corvallis on a misdemeanor Benton County Circuit Court warrant. At the request of the Benton County Circuit Court, deputies issued Lee a citation in lieu of custody and released him. |
| DWS MIS – On Friday, October 10, 2025, at about 5:40pm, deputies arrested Carl Wayne Smith, 67, in Avery Park in Corvallis after seeing him driving with a criminally suspended Oregon driver license. Smith was issued criminal and violation citations and released. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On October 10, 2025, at about 9:00 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a report of a non-injury crash at Highway 99W and Dawson Road in Monroe. Deputies arrived and observed a dark grey 2012 Mazda 3 OR that was parked on Dawson Road on the Westbound shoulder. The driver of the Mazda stated that she was traveling North on Highway 99w near Dawson Road when a white Jeep Cherokee braked suddenly to turn Westbound on Dawson Road. The drivers exchanged information, and the Jeep had already left the scene before deputies arrived. The driver of the Mazda stated that she only got a phone number and name from the driver of the Jeep, and deputies were unable to reach him via phone for his statement. Both vehicles were driven away from the scene. |
| SEARCH AND RESCUE MISSING – On October 9, 2025, at around 4:12pm, deputies were dispatched to USFS land along Brenner Creek Road near MP 2 for a report of a missing person. A male reported his wife was overdue from their hike in the woods gathering mushrooms. Combined Benton County and Lincoln County SAR teams were later called, and the wife was found alive and well at around 8:00pm. |
| FAIL TO APPEAR ON CRIMINAL CITATION – On October 8th, 2025, at around 3:21PM, deputies located Jacob Sokol, 49, riding his bicycle on NW Springhill Drive. Sokol had two warrants for his arrest. Deputies were able to contact Sokol at the intersection of NW Springhill Drive and NE HWY 20. He was subsequently issued criminal citations to appear on both of his warrants. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY – On October 6, 2025, at approximately 2:05 pm, deputies were dispatched to an injury vehicle crash at HWY 20 and Circle Blvd. Corvallis. Driver 1 was stopped, waiting for a vehicle to turn when driver 2 rear-ended him. Driver 1 sustained minor injuries to his face. Driver 2 was uninjured. All occupants were wearing their seat belts. The airbags did not deploy. |

| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On October 7th, 2025, at about 5:31 P.M., a driver was traveling in his Ford Fusion westbound on Highway 20 at Mustang Lane when he dropped his cell phone. He picked it up off the floorboard, and when he looked up, he could not stop in time to avoid crashing into a Toyota Crown that was stopped with a left turn signal on waiting to turn left (south) onto Mustang Lane. Neither driver was injured. The driver of the Ford Fusion was issued traffic citations for Careless Driving (accident) and Driving uninsured. |
| HARASSMENT – On October 7, 2025, a male came into the Benton County Sheriff`s Office to report threats of his property being damaged made to him or passed onto him originating from a female known to him. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On 10/07/2025 at approximately 12:35am, deputies initiated a traffic stop and contacted Amathist Lahodny, 27. Lahodny had an outstanding Benton County Circuit Court Warrant. Due to limited jail capacity, Lahodny was issued a citation in lieu of custody. |
| DWS MIS; WARRANT ARREST – On Monday, October 6, 2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on red 2006 Lexus 350 for a violation, on 3rd Street near Madison Avenue. The driver, Zachery Shinall, 27, was arrested for driving while suspended misdemeanor and a fail to appear warrant. Shinall was later issued criminal citations in lieu of custody and released. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Saturday, October 4, 2025, on North Albany Road near Hickory Street, Chad Copeland, 45, step into traffic and hit a passing vehicle. Deputies later learned Copeland had a fail to appear warrant. Copeland was arrested and later issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody then released. |
| PERMITTING A DOG TO RUN AT LARGE – October 4, 2025, at approximately 9:33pm, deputies were dispatched to the 23700 block of Territorial Highway for a report of a found dog. The caller stated her neighbor`s dog had gotten into their house and said this is the fourth time this has happened. |

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was uninjured in the crash. No citations were issued, and the driver was given a ride to his residence in Corvallis. |
| DWS MIS; FAIL TO APPEAR BENCH WARRANT; WARRANT ARREST – On Saturday, October 4, 2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a silver 2005 Honda Civic for traffic violations. The vehicle stopped at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and parked. The driver, Dustin Hall, 38, and his passenger, Liv Haltom, 27, were both arrested. Hall was transported to the Benton County Jail and lodged on multiple fail to appear warrants. Haltom was issued criminal citations in lieu of custody for multiple fail to appear warrants. |
| FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER; RECKLESS DRIVING; ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY – On 10/03/2025 at approximately 10:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 20 near Milepost 7 for a report of a motor vehicle crash with injuries. When they arrived, only one of the vehicles involved had remained at the scene of the crash. The driver of one of the vehicles had minor injuries but was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for an evaluation. The suspect vehicle in the hit and run was determined to be a dark gray Honda sedan (unknown model). There is no further suspect information at this time. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On 10/03/2025 at about 8:16 p.m., A driver was traveling southbound on Hwy 99W near Coffin Butte Rd. A deer ran in front of her vehicle, she swerved to the oncoming lane, over corrected, and spun into the ditch on the west side of the highway. There were no injuries, no vehicle damage, no property damage, and the vehicle was drivable. The driver had someone come and pick her up and planned on getting her vehicle the following day. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Friday, October 3, 2025, at about 9:00pm, deputies arrested Kenneth Loren Stalford, 36, at the BMX track at 551 SE Chapman Place in Corvallis on a misdemeanor Lebanon Municipal Court warrant. At the request of the Lebanon Municipal Court, Stalford was issued a citation in lieu of custody and released. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Friday, September 10, 2025, while assisting a fellow deputy on follow up for a previous case at the BMX track near Chapman Place, deputies contacted Jennifer Carter, 33. They later learned that Carter had a fail to appear warrant and issued her a criminal citation in lieu of custody and released. |
| BURGLARY 2 – On October 3, 2025, at approximately 1:36 pm, deputies were dispatched to a burglary in the 24500 block of Alpine Rd. Monroe. A female was on the property taking belongings out of the garage. She was previously evicted and trespassed from the property. The new owner stated she was allowed to be on the property to gather her belongings until 10:00pm that evening. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Thursday, October 2, 2025, at about 8:50pm, deputies arrested James Randall Newberry, 54, in the 93200 block of Territorial Highway, Junction City, on two misdemeanor Benton County Circuit Court warrants. At the request of the Benton County Circuit Court, Newberry was issued citations for his warrants and released. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On October 2, 2025, at about 10:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 22500 block of Woods Creek Road in Philomath for a welfare check. A male bought a 1967 Chevy pickup from an estate sale, and when he was leaving, the brakes on the truck failed. The truck came to rest with the front tires in the ditch at the end of the driveway. The driver entered into a civil agreement with a local Automotive shop in Philomath to remove the vehicle from the ditch and purchase the vehicle from him. Deputies transported the driver into Corvallis where he had left his other vehicle. |
| DWS MIS; WARRANT ARREST – On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at about 8:00pm, deputies stopped a black Volvo SUV after seeing it drive 47 MPH in a 25 MPH zone on NE Conifer Boulevard near NE Powderhorn Drive in Corvallis. Deputies later arrested the driver, Hunter Ryan Crawford McCord, 20, for Driving While Criminally Suspended. McCord also had two misdemeanor warrants for his arrest, and he was later lodged at the Yamhill County Jail. McCord`s passenger, Curtis William Jack Dorman, 22, had a misdemeanor warrant out of the Albany Municipal Court. Dorman was cited for his warrant and released. |
| ESCAPE 2 – On September 29, 2025, at approximately 9:11 am, patrol deputies were dispatched to the Benton County Jail to assist with an uncooperative Adult In Custody (AIC). AIC Tyler Rand, 29, was transported to the hospital. While at the hospital, AIC Rand ran out of the emergency exit door. He was arrested for Escape in the Second Degree and transported back to the jail. |
| SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE(S) – On 09/26/2025 at approximately 7:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of Seavy Avenue and Conser Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Since there was a significant time delay for the call and the suspicious vehicle was no longer at the scene, deputies contacted the reporting party by phone. The complainant reported that while he was on a walk, an unknow male had parked his vehicle and begun yelling at him. The complainant did not know this male or why he was yelling at him. The unknown male left the area shortly after the verbal exchange. |
| THEFT 3 SHOPLIFT – On Friday, September 26, 2025, at approximately 8:10 am, deputies were dispatched to a report of a shoplift at Dollar General in Monroe. According to dispatch notes, the caller reported an unknown teenaged male shoplifted from the store the previous day. He left after taking about $45.00 worth of merchandise. |

| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On October 1, 2025, at about 4:24 p.m., deputies was dispatched to Highway 20 at the Highway 34 intersection in Philomath for a report of a non-injury crash that was blocking Eastbound traffic. A white Ram pickup rear ended a yellow school bus when the school bus stopped at the railroad tracks. There were no children on the bus, and no reported injuries. The school bus was driven away from the scene and the Ram was towed. The driver of the Ram was cited for following too closely. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On September 30, 2025, around 7:30PM, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash near the intersection of Highway 34 and Jospeh Lane, Philomath. It was reported by the Life 360 app that a crash had occurred at or near the location. When deputies arrived, they contacted the juvenile driver of a 2001 Toyota Tacoma. He said he was traveling westbound on Highway 34 when for a reason unknown to him, he went off the shoulder of the highway, into the ditch, and flipped his truck over. |
| FELON IN POSS OF RESTRICTED WEAPON; POSS METH; TAMPER W/ EVIDENCE – On September 18, 2025, at approximately 9:46 PM, deputies contacted Jeremy Durant, 46, and Amanda Borum, 35, outside a silver Dodge Ram 1500 at Irish Bend Park in Monroe. A glass methamphetamine pipe was visibly protruding from Durant`s pants pocket. As deputies moved to arrest him, Durant attempted to discard the pipe by tossing it to Borum. Borum attempted to catch the pipe but dropped it and then stepped on it, destroying it. Borum was arrested for tampering with evidence. Durant was arrested for unlawful possession of over 2 grams of methamphetamine and for being a felon in possession of two restricted weapons. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On September 10, 2025, around 3:45PM, deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash near 5370 Highway 20, Corvallis. It was reported that two, possibly three vehicles were involved and at least one vehicle was blocking westbound traffic on Highway 20. There were no reported injuries, and one vehicle was towed off scene. |

| THEFT 1; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 – On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at about 5:45pm, deputies were dispatched to investigate a report of a stolen bicycle in the 1400 block of SW Allen Street in Corvallis. The victim reported a dark blue Cannondale bicycle stolen from his back porch some time that day. |
| FOUND PROPERTY – On October 1, 2025, at about 8:23 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 7700 block of NW Canyon Drive in Corvallis for a report of found cell phone. Deputies arrived and contacted the reporting party, who stated he located a cell phone that was on the side of the road in the ditch. The phone was entered into evidence for safekeeping. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On 9/30/2025 at about 6:01 pm, deputies responded to the intersection of Airport Ave. and Bellfountain Rd. for a non-injury motor vehicle crash. Both operators were uninjured, and one vehicle was towed. |

| ELUDE VEHICLE – On September 25, 2025, around 7:45PM, deputies were patrolling in the area of 3rd Street and Twin Oaks Circle, Corvallis, when they observed what appeared to be a dirt bike, going onto the Highway 34 bypass without any sort of lights on. Deputies caught up to the dirt bike and activated their emergency lights to attempt to make a traffic stop. The rider eluded them in the Crystal Lake Drive area and was ultimately not located. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On September 24th, 2025, deputies were on Crystal Lake Drive when they observed Ryan Bourgond, 38, on a bicycle traveling eastbound. He had a fail to appear warrant for Unlawful possession of methamphetamine out of Benton County Circuit Court. Deputies stopped Bourgond near SE Vera and SE Chester Ave. He was subsequently issued a citation in lieu of custody on his warrant and released. |
| POSS METH; RESISTING ARREST; WARRANT ARREST – On September 8th, 2025, deputies stopped a blue 2002 Toyota Corolla at the intersection of NW Springhill Drive, and SW Independence HWY for expired plates. The passenger, Justin Dean Russell, 49, had several warrants for his arrest. When they attempted to place him under arrest, he refused to exit the vehicle and resisted their effort to open the door and place him in custody. He eventually exited and complied. During the contact deputies located 6.908 Grams (Total package weight) of methamphetamine and two glass pipes. He was transported to the Benton County Jail on his warrants. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On September 17th, 2025, at about 11:30 pm, deputies initiated a traffic stop on Highway 20 near milepost 5 in Corvallis, on a red 2003 Kia Spectra. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Derek Holland, 30. Holland had a Contempt of Court warrant out of Albany Municipal Court. Holland was criminally cited and released. |

| WARRANT ARREST – On Sunday September 28, 2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a blue 2002 Dodge 1500 pickup on VanBuren Avenue and 2nd Street for a violation. The driver, Jeremiah Graves, 47, was later arrested for a fail to appear warrant. Graves was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody and released. |
| CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 CRIME DAMAGE – On September 27, 2025, at around 6:30pm, deputies were dispatched to the 96500 block of Adams Lane for a report of criminal mischief. Residents reported their property manager kept disconnecting their RV water line from within a chicken coop. Deputies later reached an understanding with the property manager that the entire situation was a misunderstanding, not a crime, and their hose would not be disconnected again. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY – On 09/25/2025 at about 6:07 p.m., deputies responded to Fern Rd and Wonderly Ln, for a two-vehicle crash. A motorcycle t-boned a pickup turning onto Wonderly Ln. The motorcycle rider was transported to the hospital. |
| ANIMAL/DOG COMPLAINT β On September 23, 2025, deputies transported two stray dogs at large from the 24800 block of Hwy 34 in Philomath to the Heartland Humane Society where they were impounded. The shelter contacted the owner, and the dogs were picked up later that day. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On Saturday, September 20, 2025, at about 5:25pm, deputies were dispatched to a single-vehicle, non-injury crash on Highway 99 north of Llewellyn Road outside of Corvallis. The driver was traveling in his Honda Pilot north on Highway 99 at about 55-65 MPH when he briefly fell asleep and drove into the drainage ditch on the east side of the highway. He was not injured in the crash, and he did not appear to be impaired. |
| CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 CRIME DAMAGE – On September 19, 2025, at about 3:37 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Chicory Lane in Philomath for a neighborhood dispute. On September 24, 2025, at about 2:07 p.m., deputies responded to Chicory Lane for follow up. They arrived and contacted Monica Stewart, 61, and issued her a citation in lieu of custody for Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree for an incident that occurred on July 31, 2025, that involved a neighbor. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On 9/25/2025 at about 12:50 am Maricarmen Gomora-Rodriguez (22) of Albany, was criminally cited for an active Benton County Circuit Court warrant during a traffic stop. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On September 24, 2025, at about 9:04 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a report of a hit and run that occurred earlier at about 8:15 a.m. on Highland Drive near Lester Avenue. A blue Toyota Tacoma was travelling Southbound when it had to stop suddenly for backed up traffic. A Silver Subaru Impreza swerved around the Toyota, and the mirror of the Subaru struck the Taillight of the Toyota. The Subaru driver did not realize he had made contact with the Toyota and did not pull over to exchange information. Deputies contacted the driver of the Subaru who stated he later noticed his mirror folded in and attempted to call dispatch to report the incident. Deputies connected with the two drivers who exchanged information. |
| CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 – On 09/24/2025 at approximately 8:20 am, deputies responded to the south side of the courthouse where they spoke with a female smoking marijuana which was infiltrating the courthouse. Courthouse security asked her to leave, and she said no. Deputies asked her to leave, and she did. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On September 24, 2025, at about 8:49 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a multi-vehicle crash at Highland Drive and Wild Rose Drive. A grey 2008 Toyota Tundra was travelling North when it stopped for a vehicle that was making a left turn at Lester Avenue. The Toyota was rear ended by a black 2005 Honda CRV. The Honda suffered heavy front-end damage and was towed from the scene. The Toyota suffered mild rear end damage and was driven away from the scene. All the occupants were wearing their seat belts and no airbags deployed. There were no injuries. |

| ANIMAL ABUSE 2; ANIMAL NEGLECT 2 – On September 15, 2025, around 6:00PM, deputies were made aware of an animal complaint in the 4700 block of NW Independence Highway, Albany. It was reported there were multiple neglected and dead animals at the residence, which included chickens, turkeys, a litter of kittens, and rabbits. There were reportedly very skinny dogs that were always in dog crates. Matthew Ashling, 24, was later arrested for Animal Abuse and Neglect in the Second Degree and was booked at the Benton County Jail. |
| ASSAULT 1 ATTEMPTED; UNLAW USE OF WEAPON; MENACING – On July 28, 2025, at approximately 12:36am, deputies were dispatched to the 24700 block of Cox Lane for a report of an assault. The caller stated her juvenile son attacked her husband with a knife. The juvenile was later located nearby and arrested on multiple charges. |
| RECKLESS DRIVING – On September 22, 2025, at approximately 6:55 p.m., deputies stopped Christian Michael Wechter, 18, for doing 125 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone on Highway 20 near Priest Road. Deputies gave Wechter a criminal citation for reckless driving. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Sunday, September 21, 2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a red 1999 Ford Mustang on Harrison Boulevard near 14th Street. The driver, Khary Pompey, 45, was arrested for a fail-to-appear warrant. Pompey was later issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody and released. |
| CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1 – On 09/20/2025 at approximately 5:30 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 24500 block of Alpine Road in Monroe for a report of a trespass. At the residence, deputies contacted Cynthia Williams, 66, and arrested her for trespassing. Williams was transported to the Benton County Jail. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY – On September 20, 2025, at 2:02 pm, deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle, injury traffic crash at NE HWY 20/NE Garden Ave. Driver 1 was westbound on NE HWY 20, approaching NE Garden Ave. Driver 2 was also westbound on NE HWY 20, following driver 1. Both drivers stated there was a vehicle in front of driver 1, that quickly stopped to turn left onto Garden. This vehicle caused driver 1 to come to a quick stop. Driver 2 was unable to stop in time and crashed into the rear of driver 1`s vehicle. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On 09/19/2025 at about 11:46 p.m., deputies encountered Ismael Nelson, 42, during a traffic stop who had a confirmed cite and release warrant out of Albany Municipal Court. Ismael was issued a citation for the warrant. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On September 17th, 2025, at around 10:57AM, deputies arrested Jonathan Paul Wood, 52, for an Albany Municipal Court warrant for FTC – Criminal trespass I in North Albany. Wood was subsequently issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody and released. |
| UNNECESSARY NOISE/BARKING DOG – On Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, at approximately 11:30PM, deputies responded to a reported barking dog in the 25000 block of Orchard Tract Road. Deputies contacted a resident who said the dog occasionally barks, but that they were blamed for the other neighbors who would bark as well. Deputies suggested they make attempts to keep the dog quiet. |
| THEFT 1 DECEPTION – On September 15, 2025, around 2:50PM, deputies were dispatched to the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center to speak with a complainant about a theft of $3000. She reported she received a call from a deputy at the Sheriff`s Office and was told she had a warrant for missing jury duty. She transferred $3000 of Bitcoin to clear the warrant. It wasn`t until later, when she arrived at the Sheriff`s Office, that it was a scam. |
| CONTEMPT OF COURT – On September 5, 2025, deputies were contacted by the jail and advised of a possible violation of a no contact order occurring. Deputies issued Dylan Sanford Wambolt, 27, a citation while he was in custody for contempt of court. |

| CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 – On Sunday, September 21, 2025, at approximately 7pm, deputies were dispatched to the 24500 block of Alpine Road, Monroe, for a reported trespass. Deputies learned the prior resident was evicted and served notice on September 17, 2025. Deputies were not able to locate her on the property. |
| DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2; RESISTING ARREST – On September 20, 2025, at approximately 11:00pm, deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 20 and Milepost 38 for a male standing partially in the road. The male, identified as David Slack, 42, was located near the intersection of Highway 20 and Davis Rd. Slack was eventually arrested for Disorderly Conduct II and Resisting Arrest – Attempted. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On 09/21/2025 at approximately 10:00 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the 5100 block of NE Highway 20 in Corvallis for a report of a family dispute. A male at the residence, Clifford Reyes Sr., 60, had several active warrants for his arrest. Reyes Sr. was subsequently issued citations in lieu of custody for his three active warrants. He was left at the residence. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On 9/20/2025 at about 1:42 am Jeffery Tyler (59) of Albany, was criminally cited for an outstanding Albany Municipal Court warrant on Adair Frontage Rd. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On September 20, 2025, at 12:28 AM, deputies contacted Walter Groves, 47, at the intersection of North Albany Road and NW Hickory Street in Albany. Groves was removing signs from a vehicle parked in the bike lane. Groves was posting the signs in the grass for a furniture sale. Groves had a confirmed cite and release warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court for Failure to Appear on a Traffic Offense, Bail $10,000. Groves was issued a new court date for the warrant. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On 9/18/2025 at about 11:07 pm, deputies were investigating an incident at Irish Bend Park when they observed a vehicle pull into the parking lot and back into a metal post while trying to back out. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on it and ultimately issued the driver citations. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On September 18, 2025, at 2:20 pm, deputies contacted Jonathan Avery Smith, 34, in Takena Landing Park. Smith had a confirmed Lane County Circuit Court warrant, $20000 bail. Smith acknowledged he missed his court date. Smith was transported Smith to the Benton County jail where he was lodged. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at about 6:45pm, deputies were dispatched to a reported single-vehicle crash on Highway 99 near NE Elliott Circle north of Corvallis. A teen was driving north when her Honda went off the east side of the road for an unknown reason. She tried to correct her steering but ultimately crashed into Jackson Creek. She was not injured in the crash. No one else was present in the vehicle at the time of the crash and she did not appear to be impaired at the time of the crash. |
| CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1; WARRANT ARREST – On September 17, 2025, at about 9:20 a.m., deputies responded to the 24800 block of Evergreen Road in Philomath for a report of a theft of a small John Deer trailer being pulled behind a bicycle. Deputies contacted a male who matched the caller`s description, and who they recognized to be Richard Wall, 55, from previous call history. They cited and released Wall for Trespassing in the First degree and for a warrant out of Lebanon Justice Court. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On September 13, 2025, at about 1:38 p.m., deputies were patrolling in Alsea and cited John Caldwell, 32, for Violating the Basic Rule of Speed and Driving While Suspended -Violation. He was then transported to the Linn County Jail where he was lodged for a Fail to Appear – Dangerous Drugs Warrant. |
| CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 – On September 12, 2025, an FAA employee contacted deputies about Criminal Mischief that occurred at their repeater site up on Mary`s Peak. She said the damage was around $500.00. No suspect information at this time. |
| ACCIDENT OTHER INJURY – On Saturday, September 6th, 2025, at approximately 8:00 AM, deputies responded to a reported motor vehicle collision at Dawson Road and McFarland Road. Dispatch reported a vehicle had been found that was obviously in an accident. It was unoccupied. Deputies responded and contacted the driver who had hit an elk and then continued to work. Deputies got his information and ensured he was uninjured. |
| DWS MIS – On September 6, 2025, at 2:19 AM, deputies stopped Heather Monson, 45, on NW Harrison Boulevard near NW 3rd Street in Corvallis. Monson was cited for Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor and for Failure to Use an Ignition Interlock Device. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On 9/17/2025 at about 11:00 pm Laura King (54) of Philomath, was criminally cited for her Albany Municipal Court warrant in the parking lot of 5270 SW Philomath Blvd, Corvallis. |
| POSS METH; WARRANT ARREST – On September 16th, 2025, at around 10:25PM, deputies were dispatched to the area of 3400 NE HWY 20 for a report of a 911 hang-up. Upon arrival to the residence, deputies spoke with a woman who said her 4-year-old was playing with her cell phone. Deputies observed Benjamin Jazmin, 26, in the driveway, who had two active warrants for his arrest. Jazmin was placed under arrest then transported to the Benton County Jail where he was lodged on his two warrants, and additionally charged with PCS Methamphetamine, more than 2 grams (2.165 grams). |
| MENACING – On September 16, 2025, deputies were dispatched to the 4900 block of NW Bramblewood Ln, Albany for a reported menacing. At the conclusion of the investigation, probable cause was not established to believe a crime was committed against the reporting party. The menacing allegation was unfounded. |
| CRIMINAL TRESPASS W/ FIREARM – On September 15, 2025, at about 5:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched for a complaint of trespass. Deputies spoke with the complainant by phone, who said his neighbor trespassed on his property while holding a gun. He wanted the situation documented but wanted no law enforcement action taken. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On June 13, 2025, at about 5:37 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop on Rickie Lee Fairfield, 65, and arrested him on outstanding warrants. Fairfield was lodged him at the Benton County Jail. |
| CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3 – On September 13, 2025, at about 5:36 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 1300 block of NW Emperor Dr for the report of an arrow stuck in a roof. When deputies arrived, the resident showed deputies where the arrow had stuck in the roof. Deputies found the owner of the arrow who explained how it happened and assured it would not happen again. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On September 12, 2025, deputies were dispatched to a verbal domestic in the 4300 block of NE Hwy 20, Corvallis. Alizabeth Schmer, 26, James Nicholson, 63, and Zachary Olson, 32, were all contacted. Olson was cited in lieu of custody on an Albany Municipal Court warrant for FTA Trespassing. |
| CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; WARRANT ARREST – On 09/09/2025 at approximately 8:03 am, deputies responded to the 24800 block of Evergreen Rd for a report of a trespass at a vacant residence. Deputies contacted Richard Walls, 55, inside the vacant structure. Deputies arrested Walls for Criminal Trespass II and issued him a citation for an outstanding warrant. Walls was issued citations in lieu of custody and left the location on his bicycle. |
| DWS MIS – On September 8, 2025, at approximately 1:36 pm, deputies performed a traffic stop at HWY 99 and Arnold Ave, Corvallis. The driver, Logan Ingraham, 22, was arrested for Driving While Suspended-Misdemeanor. Logan was cited in lieu of custody. |
| CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 – On September 8, 2025, at approximately 10:34 am, deputies were dispatched to a trespass in the 25100 block of Maxfield Creek Rd. Monmouth, OR. A resident stated a vehicle drove up her driveway, took pictures and left. There are no trespassing signs at the beginning of her driveway. |
| POSS METHAMPHETAMINE – On September 2nd, 2025, at around 10:14AM, deputies assisted Benton County Parole and Probation with issuing a citation to West Trontvet, 35, after his probation Officer located methamphetamine folded into a foil square in his possession. The foil and meth weighed .58 Grams. He was issued a criminal citation for possession of methamphetamine – less than 2 grams. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On September 1, 2025, at approximately 7:26 PM, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a gray sedan near 922 NW Circle Boulevard in Corvallis, for observed traffic violations. Juan Arroyo Vargas, 48, of Oregon was found to have an active warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court for Failure to Appear on a DUII charge. The Benton County Jail informed they were full and unable to lodge Vargas; Vargas was issued a citation in lieu of custody and released with a court date. |
| PERSON < 21 POSSESSING/PURCHASING MARIJUANA – On August 31, 2025, at approximately 8:26 PM, deputies stopped a red Nissan Sentra with dealer plates for travelling 85 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone on Highway 20 near Blodgett. Payten Nichols Guggenmos, 18, had pre-rolled marijuana joints and a large bong, which were seized, and he was cited for minor in possession of marijuana while driving and violation of the basic speed rule. |
| π On September 12, 2025, deputies arrested Jessica Lynn Creameans, 39, of Salem, for DUII and Driving While Suspended. π On September 13, 2025, deputies arrested William Shikendra Huston, 39, of Albany, for DUII, Reckless Driving, and an Albany Municipal Court warrant. |
| BURGLARY 2 – On September 14, 2025, at approximately 10:44 am, deputies were dispatched to a cold burglary in the 6900 block of HWY 20 Albany, OR. The owner stated someone attempted to break into a side door. Access was not made, and nothing appeared to be taken. |
| THEFT 1 FRAUD – On September 13, 2025, at 12:00 pm, deputies were approached by a female in front of the LEC. She had someone on the phone claiming to be with the Marion County Sheriff`s Office. This person was requesting $5000 because she had missed court. Deputies had a conversation with the male who identified himself as Detective Swatters from Marion County Sheriff`s Office. During the call with “Swatters,” he continued representing himself as law enforcement, even when proven he was not. Deputies eventually ended the phone call as it was an obvious scam. Deputies had a conversation with the female about recognizing common scam techniques. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On September 12, 2025, at 11:03 PM, deputies contacted Christopher Thaxton, 39, in Takena Landing, Albany. Thaxton had the below listed cite and release warrants. Thaxton was issued court dates for both warrants: Warrant #1, Albany Municipal Court, FTA/ Contempt of Court, Bail $6,750; and Warrant #2, Lebanon Municipal Court, FTA/ DWS-Violation, Bail $10,000. |
| HARASSMENT (1C) TEL/ELEC/WRIT THRT-INTIM/THRT – On September 12, 2025, at approximately 9:04 am, deputies were dispatched to a harassment in the 39000 block of Kings Valley HWY, Monmouth. A male sent threatening messages to a resident through Facebook messenger. |
| POSS/MANUF/DEL CONT`L SUB SCH 1; WARRANT ARREST – On Friday September 12, 2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a blue 2006 Lexus sedan for a vehicle violation on Highway 34 near Electric Road. Following an investigation the driver, Ginger Sugden, 46, and passenger, Michael Odstrcil, 36, were arrested for failing to appear warrants as well as possession of a controlled substance. Both parties were issued criminal citations in lieu of custody and released. |
| DWS MIS – On Monday, September 8, 2025, at approximately 2:58 pm, deputies stopped a brown 2011 Honda CRV on Territorial Highway near milepost p 1. The driver, Yasin Moussaoui, 28, had a suspended driver`s license at the misdemeanor level. I viewed the photo attached to his DMV file and recognized him as the driver. Yasin was arrested for DWS Misdemeanor and given a courtesy ride to the Monroe Library to wait for a ride. |
| CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 CRIME DAMAGE; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER PROP DAMAGE; ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On September 10, 2025, at 12:35 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 6700 block of NE Elliott Cir for a cold hit and run. On 9/9/25 at about 7:30 pm, a driver was southbound on NE Elliott Cir when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway due to excessive speeds. When the driver left the roadway, he crashed into several trees on private property. The driver then drove the vehicle from the scene without leaving his information or attempting to contact the property owner. A neighbor who witnessed the crash later identified the vehicle`s owner. Deputies assisted with an information exchange between driver and property owner. |
| DWS MIS; WARRANT ARREST – On September 9th, 2025, at about 11:34 pm, deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 2500 block of Chapel Drive in Philomath, on a purple Dodge Neon. The driver of the vehicle, Hunter McCord, 20, was arrested for Driving While Revoked Misdemeanor and two Linn County Circuit Court warrants for Failure to Appear. McCord was criminally cited and released. |
| CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2 CRIME DAMAGE – On 09/09/2025 at about 6:02 p.m., deputies responded the area of Harrison Blvd and 53rd St, Corvallis. It was reported that an older Subaru Outback hit a speed sign and drove away. Upon arriving at the location, deputies took digital photographs of the destroyed 45 MPH sign. The Public Works department was notified. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On September 7th, 2025, at around 3:58PM, deputies observed a male pull up to a business in the 600 block of NW Hickory Street, Albany. They recognized the male as Austin Robert Fisher, 32. Austin Fisher had a cite and release Albany Municipal Court warrant for FTA- Contempt of court. Fisher was subsequently cited and released. |
| DOG AT LARGE – On September 6, 2025, at about 6:59 p.m., deputies were traveling West on Highway 34 when they observed a dog running on the highway in heavy traffic. Deputies captured the dog and transported him to Heartland Humane Society after multiple failed attempts to contact the owner. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On September 5, 2025, at 2:08 pm, deputies were dispatched to the P&P lobby for a warrant service and contacted Elizabeth Rochelle Garcia, 38, who had a confirmed, no bail, Linn County Circuit Court warrant for FTA Theft I. Deputies handcuffed Garcia in the front of her body, and transported her to the Linn County Jail. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On September 1, 2025, at about 7:19 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 1400 block of NW Lester AVE for a reported crash. A driver hit a deer with her 2025 Subaru Outback. The deer was gone when deputies arrived. |
| BCSO ANIMAL OTHER β On September 8, 2025, 3:09 p.m., deputies transported two stray goats at large from the 24200 block of Old Peak Road in Philomath to the Heartland Humane Society where they were impounded. Both were miniature male goats wearing nylon collars. |
| PROPERTY, FOUND – On September 7th, 2025, at around 12:31PM, deputies were dispatched to Hyak Park located at 5000 NW HWY 20 for a report of a found gun. Deputies discovered it was actually a CO2 powered BB gun. The weight, and appearance of the BB gun was an exact replica of a real firearm. The BB gun was seized as found property and entered into evidence at the Benton County Sheriff`s Office. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On September 6, 2025, at about 10:08 p.m., deputies were doing traffic patrol on Highway 20 at about milepost four. They initiated a traffic stop on Kevin Michael Osberg, 37, who had a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant. They gave Osberg a criminal citation for his warrant. |
| VIOL RELEASE AGREEMENT – On September 3rd, 2025, at about 2:31 am, deputies were dispatched to a report of an argument between a male and a female located in the 32300 block of Mary`s Peak Road in Philomath. After further investigation, it was determined that Dakota Florence, 32, was in violation of a court-ordered release agreement. Florence was transported and lodged at the Benton County Jail. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On September 2, 2025, at approximately 5:10am, deputies responded to the intersection of Ervin Rd. and Decker Rd. for a report of a crash. When they arrived in the area they found a grey Ford F-150. The driver stated he took the corner too fast in the gravel and slid in the ditch. |

| MINOR IN POSS OF LIQUOR; DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 – On Sunday, September 7, 2025, deputies were dispatched to the area of Hazel Glen Road and Lobster Valley Road for a crash. Following an investigation, deputies arrested Brandon Browning, 20, for disorderly conduct in the second degree and minor in possession, for events leading up to, during, and after the crash. Browning was later issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody and released to a sober adult. |
| RECKLESS DRIVING; ELUDE VEHICLE – On Saturday, September 6, 2025, at approximately 4:30pm, deputies attempted to stop a juvenile near Highway 20 and milepost 39. A Juvenile eluded in a vehicle but was later captured in Philomath. |

| TOW, HAZARD – On September 5, 2025, at 11:54 pm, deputies observed a 2003 Infinity parked in the middle of the intersection at Highway 34 and Ireland Lane in Corvallis. The Infinity was dark grey in color and did not have any lights on. The Infinity was blocking most of the intersection and was a public safety hazard. The Infinity was towed as a Traffic Hazard. |
| THEFT 1 – On September 5, 2025, at about 1:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 1600 block of SW Brooklane Drive in Corvallis for a report of a bicycle theft. A 16-year-old left her $1700.00 electric bike in a driveway while visiting a friend overnight on August 30, 2025, and it went missing by the next morning. |
| LITTERING – On September 5, 2025, at about 11:30 a.m., deputies were patrolling in Alsea, when they observed a large amount of trash on the street. Deputies recognized the items as belonging to Kimberley Lopez, 46, from an earlier case. Deputies located Kimberly parked on 3rd Street and issued her a citation for ORS 164.805 Offensive Littering. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Friday September 5, 2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a silver 2015 Hyundai Tucson on Monroe Avenue near 4th Street. The driver, Gary Mathews, 62, was arrested for a fail to appear warrant. Gary was later issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody and released. |
| DWS MIS; WARRANT ARREST – On September 4, 2025, at 10:53 PM, deputies stopped Justin Gilmore, 39, on NE Conifer Boulevard near NW Highway 99W in Corvallis after they observed him Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor. Gilmore additionally had a confirmed warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court for Failure to Appear on a Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor charge. Gilmore was cited on the probable cause charge and issued a new court date for the warrant. The vehicle Gilmore was driving was towed as a hazard. |
| WARRANT ARREST – Thursday, September 4, 2025, at about 8:50pm, deputies arrested Andrew Jason Rice, 52, in the 5800 block of NW Highland Place in Corvallis on a misdemeanor Benton County Circuit Court warrant. Rice was issued a citation in lieu of custody and released. |
| DOMESTIC TERRORISM 1; ABUSE VENERATED OBJECT; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3; RECKLESS ENDANGERING; DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 – On September 4, 2025, at approximately 7:21 PM, deputies responded to the Benton County Courthouse, where a man later identified as Darren David Perreard, 55, threw containers of ammonia and bleach into an alcove for the lower entrance into the courthouse, creating a cloud of toxic chloramine gas. Perreard was arrested and lodged at the Benton County Jail for Domestic Terrorism 1, Reckless Endangering, Abuse of a Venerated Object, Criminal Mischief 3, and Disorderly Conduct 2. |
| DOG BITE – On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at about 8:55pm, deputies were dispatched to investigate a possible domestic disturbance in the 4500 block of SW Nash Avenue in Corvallis. After investigating, they determined that a juvenile child had been bitten by a dog. The child was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center by their father and the dog was isolated following the incident. A Dog Bite Report was completed and submitted to the Benton County Health Department. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On September 3rd, 2025, at around 8:42AM, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle near SE Rivergreen Ave and SE Villa Dr. Deputies contacted the driver, who they recognized as Devin Bundy, 31, who had an active cite and release warrant out of Multnomah County Circuit Court for Theft II. He was subsequently cited in lieu of custody on his warrant. |
| DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 – On September 2, 2025, deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of SW Avery Ave, Corvallis for a transient female who was disorderly. The female was flailing about near employee vehicles and was asked to leave by staff. The female cursed at staff and left prior to deputy arrival and the female was not located. |
| THEFT 1 DECEPTION – On September 2, 2025, deputies met a resident in the lobby of the Sheriff`s Office regarding a jury summons scam. She was emailed a document with a warrant for her arrest. |
| PROPERTY, FOUND – On 09/01/2025 at approximately 09:06 hours, an adult male brought a cell phone to the LEC that he found at the top of Mary`s Peak. The phone`s owner was identified, and it was returned to her. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Monday, August 25, 2025, at approximately 12:15am, deputies stopped Chastin Morton, 27, for speeding on Walnut Boulevard near Aspen, Corvallis. Deputies learned Morton had a warrant for her arrest out of Albany Municipal Court for failure to appear. Deputies issued Morton citations for her speed, 50 in a posted 35, driving while suspended and a citation in lieu of custody for her warrant. |
| ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ – On Friday, August 22, 2025, at approximately 9:15pm, deputies were dispatched to Highway 99 near Mile Post 74.5 for a reported vehicle crash. The driver could not avoid hitting a cow elk while driving south on Highway 99 towards Corvallis. He was not injured; his vehicle was towed. |
| FELON IN POSS OF RESTRICTED WEAPON; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; WARRANT ARREST – On August 15, 2025, at about 2:49 am, Samuel Monroe, 48, was arrested in the parking lot of 2005 NW Circle Blvd in Corvallis, Oregon. Monroe had an Oregon State Parole Board warrant and three Failure to Appear warrants out of Corvallis Municipal Court. Monroe was also charged with Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon and Unlawful Possession of Meth. Monroe was transported and lodged at the Linn County Jail. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On August 31st, 2025, at about 11:35 pm, deputies initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of NW Walnut Blvd and NW Maser DR in Corvallis, Oregon. The driver was identified as Steve Bedolla, 55. Bedolla had a warrant issued by Philomath Municipal Court and another issued by Lebanon Municipal Court, both for failure to appear. Bedolla was criminally cited and released. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Saturday August 30, 2025, deputies contacted Nathan Hendrix, 41, in Avery Park near Philomath Boulevard. Hendrix was later arrested for multiple fail to appear warrants, issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody, and released. |
| HARASSMENT PHONE – On Saturday, August 30, 2025, deputies were dispatched to a report of harassment in the 6300 block of NE William R Carr Street. According to dispatch notes, the caller told a male to stop contacting her and he continued to do so. The male was warned not to contact the caller or go to her property, or he could be arrested. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On August 29, 2025, at about 2:39 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Highway 99 W at West Ingram Island Road in Monroe for a noninjury crash that was blocking the Southbound Lane of travel. A blue Subaru Impreza was travelling South behind a motorcycle when the motorcycle suddenly stopped to turn left on West Ingram Island Road. The driver of the Impreza came to a hard stop to avoid hitting the motorcycle and a white Ford Fusion could not stop in time and struck the back of the Subaru. There were no apparent injuries. The Subaru was driven away from the scene with rear end damage. The Ford had front end damage and was towed. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On August 29, 2025, at approximately 9:11 am, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash in the 7100 block of Springhill Dr. Albany. A driver was traveling on Springhill Dr. in his work van when it caught the edge of a tractor. The driver stated he needed law enforcement to help with exchanging information. Information was exchanged between the two. |
| RECKLESS ENDANGERING; ENDANGER WELFARE OF MINOR DRUGS – On August 28, 2025, a welfare check was conducted in the 2000 block of NW Granger Avenue on an infant. Lindsey J Gamel, 33, was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Minor and Reckless Endangering. DHS took custody of the child. |

Christopher Joseph Smith, 30, was arrested for a Lebanon Municipal Warrant-Probation Violation. He was cited in lieu of custody. |

| BURGLARY 2; THEFT 1 – On September 1st, 2025, at about 6:20 P.M., a male who reported a burglary and theft from a storage shed in Adair County Park that apparently occurred sometime in the previous three days. It appears that a crowbar was used to pry the locked hinge open. Items belonging to a frisbee golf club, valued at between $2,000 and $3,000, were stolen. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On August 25, 2025, at about 12:50 AM, deputies contacted a male sleeping outside the Blodget store. The male, identified as Christopher TURNWALL, 39, informed them he had a warrant for his arrest and was just tired. TURNWALL had a confirmed Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for Probation Violation. Deputies issued him a criminal citation and gave him a courtesy ride to Sodaville per his request. |

| SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT(S) – On August 26th, 2025, a female went onto the property of a farm on Highway 20 across from Garden Avenue, apparently to see if someone would give her some water. An employee called this in because they had some recent thefts. They thought she may have also taken some strawberries but only wanted her trespassed. Deputies located her about a half mile away and warned her about this, then gave her some bottled waters. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On August 25, 2025, around 7:15PM, deputies went to the 2400 block of Squire Street, Albany, to serve a cite and release warrant and seize a concealed handgun license for Joseph Edward Brown, 61. Brown had a warrant for DUII out of Linn County. Deputies had a letter to give him explaining the CHL seizure. The warrant was served and the CHL was seized. |
| FRAUDULENT USE CREDIT CARD – On August 25th, 2025, at around 12:41PM, deputies were dispatched to contact a resident regarding a fraudulent charge he had discovered on his bank account. He discovered a charge for $174.37 that was not made by him. |
| THEFT 3 SERVICES – On August 22, 2025, deputies spoke with a female regarding her Safeway points being used without her permission. She believed her former roommate was using her account based on purchases at the Junction City Safeway. At her request, deputies contacted the former roommate asking that he no longer use the Safeway account. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On August 18th, 2025, at around 7:53AM, deputies were dispatched to HWY 99W and McFarland Rd for a crash notification. Upon arrival, deputies determined a green Hyundai Accent rear-ended a silver Toyota Tacoma. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On August 22, 2025, at approximately 6:50 am, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash on HWY 34 milepost 39, Alsea. The driver was traveling westbound when he hit an elk. There were no injuries, the airbags did not deploy, and the driver was wearing his seatbelt. The elk ran off and the vehicle was towed. |
| CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 1; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER; DWS MIS – On August 12th, 2025, at about 11:00 pm, deputies were dispatched to a report of a non-injury motor vehicle crash near the intersection of Alpine Road and McFarland Road in Monroe. It was later determined that a Toyota Rav 4 had gone off the road and struck a power pole. The driver of the vehicle, Brandon Scott Trimble, 37, was later located and arrested for Driving While Revoked Misdemeanor, Criminal Mischief in the First Degree, and Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver When Property is Damaged. |
| MISSING PERSON – On August 29, 2025, at 1:00 AM, deputies took a report regarding a missing 77-year-old female. It was reported she left her home in the 2000 block of NW Highway 20 in Albany on August 28, 2025, at about 4:00 PM. She said she was going to visit her son at the hospital in Corvallis. She never arrived at the hospital and did not return home. She has early stages of Alzheimerβs and had recently gone missing in the past. OSP Troopers located her in Bend the following morning. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On August 28, 2025, at 11:27 PM, deputies stopped Terry McCarthy, 39, for no front plate, registration expired and a turn signal violation on 3rd Street near Avery Avenue in Corvallis. McCarthy was cited for driving while suspended violation and driving uninsured. The front seat passenger, Thomas Miller, 48, removed a bike from the vehicle and attempted to ride away without a bike light. Miller was stopped and detained for the bike light violation. Miller warrants and was cited and released. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On August 28th, 2025, at about 1:43 am, Gary Rogers, 56, was arrested at Takena Landing Park at 656 Highway 20 in Albany, Oregon. Rogers had a Contempt of Court Warrant out of Albany Municipal Court. Rogers was criminally cited and released. |
| RECKLESS DRIVING; ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On August 26, 2025, deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on SW Reservoir Rd near MP 1 in Corvallis. A string of vehicles were travelling east. A Kia passed a slow-moving Toyota pickup in the center turn lane. After being passed, the Toyota immediately accelerated and crashed into the back of the Kia that passed him. The Toyota continued and crashed into the curb flattening both passenger side tires. The driver of the Toyota, Robert Gene Miller, 69, was cited for Reckless driving. |
| PUBLIC INDECENCY MISD EXPOSURE; DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2 – On August 25, 2025, around 6:30PM, deputies were dispatched to speak with a witness about a sex offense she had witnessed at Hyak Park, located at 5000 Highway 20, Albany. She reported there was an older looking male masturbating in the park and left when she confronted him. She provided a plate and got a video of what happened. Steven Johnston, of Corvallis, was later arrested for Indecent Exposure and was issued a criminal citation. |
| BURGLARY 2; THEFT 1 – On August 20, 2025 at 9 am, deputies spoke with a contact for a church in NE Corvallis, who reported sometime between August 3 and August 15, an unknown subject stole three, Stihl gas-powered lawn tools from the church`s maintenance shop. The tools were valued at $1500. |
| FALSE INFO TO POLICE; FELON IN POSS OF RESTRICTED WEAPON; POSS FENTANYL; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; DEPOSIT TRASH W/IN 100YD WATER; WARRANT ARREST – On August 13th, 2025, deputies investigated a complaint regarding illegal camping at NE HWY 20 MP1. Deputies located Brenda Peterson, 32, and Patrick Sundberg, 35. Both had numerous warrants and were in possession of weapons (Knives, a stun gun, and a sling shot) and 2.7 grams of powdered fentanyl. Sundberg also had initially provided a fake name. Sundberg was lodged at BCCF on his charges and Peterson was forced to be cited in lieu of custody due to no room available at the jail. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Sunday, August 24, 2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a bicycle on 4th Street near Western Boulevard for violations. Dalton Davis-Williamson, 34, was later arrested for nine fail to appear warrants and issued criminal citations in lieu of custody. |

Deputies later arrested Alvarez on two warrants and for multiple new crimes, including Trespass 2, Providing False Information to Police, Identity Theft, Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Fentanyl, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Alvarez was taken to the Lincoln County Jail. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at about 9:05pm, deputies arrested Kristina Elaine Hass, 35, on SW 2nd Street near SW Western Boulevard in Corvallis on a misdemeanor Albany Municipal Court warrant. At the request of the Albany Municipal Court, Hass was issued a citation in lieu of custody and released. |

Upon arrival, deputies located the driver, Kelly Chorlton, 36, in her residence nearby. Chorlton was being cared for by her wife and declined medical evaluation. Chorlton was later arrested on warrants out of Linn County courts and was issued citations in lieu of custody. The vehicle was recovered from the ditch and towed from the scene. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On August 12, 2025, at approximately 12:16 AM, deputies stopped a black sedan on NW Maxine Avenue near NW 9th Street, Corvallis, for observed traffic violations. Jennifer Goodwin, 47, of Lebanon, Oregon was later arrested on warrants out of the Lebanon and Albany Municipal Courts for Probation Violation and Contempt of Court, respectively. Goodwin was issued citations in lieu of custody with court dates for her warrants. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On July 29, 2025, at approximately 10:42 PM, deputies stopped a black Subaru hatchback for observed traffic violations on NE Lancaster Street near NE Conifer Boulevard, Corvallis. The driver, identified as Ismael Nelson, 42, was arrested on an Albany Municipal Court warrant for Contempt of Court. Nelson was issued a citation to appear in court in lieu of custody. |
| DWS MIS – On August 11, 2025, at approximately 11:32 PM, deputies stopped a purple Dodge Challenger for observed traffic violations. The driver, Jessie White-Ware, 38, was arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended. White-Ware was issued a citation in lieu of custody and called a licensed driver to come drive the vehicle from the location of the stop. |
| CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 – On August 10, 2025, at about 11:00 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 4800 block of NW Barbara St, Corvallis, for a reported trespass. The trespassers left before deputies arrived and were unable to locate them. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On 8/11/2025 at around 2:05 PM, deputies were patrolling Marys Peak Road near the top and came upon a vehicle stopped in the roadway with its hazards on. The driver told deputies a motorcycle had gone over the side and into the brush off the roadway. Deputies contacted the driver, who said he was not hurt and needed help getting his motorcycle back onto the roadway. Several vehicles with BLM Fire personnel helped by using a rope and pulled the bike back up and the driver rode away. |
| CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 2; FAIL TO PERFORM DUTIES/DRIVER – On Sunday, August 10th, 2025, at approximately 12:01 PM, deputies responded to a reported hit and run in the 31300 block of Peterson Road. A resident reported a pickup truck towing a camping trailer had crashed and damaged her fence before driving away. |

Cartwright had an outstanding Benton County Circuit Court warrant – FTA Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Deputies transported Cartwright to the Law Enforcement Center (LEC) where they issued him a citation in lieu of custody per the Benton County Jails` request since they were full. |

| WARRANT ARREST – On Saturday, August 16, 2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a green 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee on 3rd Street near Twin Oaks Circle for a vehicle violation. The driver was issued a violation citation, and two occupants, Ronald Tracy, 30, and Lerae Ruck, 24, were arrested for fail to appear warrants. Tracy and Ruck were both issued criminal citations in lieu of custody and released. |
| CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 – On August 16, 2025, at around 2:44pm, deputies were dispatched to a prowler in the 2100 block of NE Highway 20. A female, who was not on-scene, reported seeing on a security camera a man wearing a tan hat, blue shirt, blue jeans, and carrying bags walking around her house and out- buildings. Deputies arrived and found nobody on the property. Deputies later learned that this occurred at least an hour before the call was made to Dispatch. |
| MISSING PERSON – On 08/15/2025 at approximately 8:30 P.M., deputies received a report from a resident that a female was missing. On 8/16/2025 at around 2:00 P.M., the Salem Police Department contacted the female, who was in fact not missing. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Friday, August 15, 2025, at about 6:10pm, deputies arrested Ross Michael Connelly, 27, in the 3300 block of Devon Place SE in Albany on a misdemeanor warrant out of the Benton County Circuit Court. At the request of the warrant-issuing court, Connelly was cited in lieu of custody and released. |
| PERMITTING A DOG TO RUN AT LARGE – August 15, 2025, 8:40 a.m., deputies transported two stray dogs from Macdonald Forest, Dimple Hill area to the Heartland Humane Society where they were impounded. The dogs were promptly picked up by their owners. |
| PAROLE VIOLATION; FEL DWS – On 8/15/2025 at about 6:15 am, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white Saturn near the intersection of Fern Rd. and Airport Ave. The operator, Jonathan Archer (40) of Corvallis, was subsequently arrested and lodged at the jail for driving while suspended felony, and parole violation. |
| POSS METHAMPHETAMINE (< 2G) – On 8/15/2025 at about 1:55 am, Benton County Deputies contacted two suspicious subjects in a vehicle parked at Takena Landing. |
| VEHICLE RECOVERED FOR OTHER AGENCY – On 08/14/2025 at about 5:49 p.m., deputies recovered a stolen motorcycle that was brought to the Sheriff`s Office. It had been stolen out of Albany two years ago. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On August 14, 2025, at around 2:30pm, deputies encountered a tow truck blocking Hwy 99W, near MP 98, towing a beige 2004 Toyota Corolla that had driven off the roadway and down a steep embankment. Deputies spoke with a female that was nearby in another vehicle, who told deputies she had crashed the Toyota on August 10th at around 9:00pm after being “blinded” by on-coming traffic`s lights. No injuries. |
| DWS MIS – On August 14th, at about 1:11 pm, deputies stopped Havillah Green, 48, for no front plate on her 1997 Merc Mountaineer. She was cited and released for DWS-Misdemeanor. |
| WARRANT ARREST; SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE – On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at about 10:50pm, deputies were dispatched to investigate a suspicious circumstance on Highway 99 near Orchard Street in Monroe. The reporting person told Dispatch he saw a blue Jaguar driving outside its lane and at inconsistent speeds. Deputies spoke with an occupant of the Jaguar, Lynn David Adams, 54, who told deputies they were looking for a lost cellphone. Adams was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant out of the Albany Municipal Court. At the request of the court, Adams was cited in lieu of custody and released. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On August 13, 2025, around 6:00PM, deputies were dispatched to speak with a female about a motor vehicle accident that had occurred at Beazell Forest County Park. She reported that she had crashed into a fence post at the park around 5:30PM and was filing her report. She told deputies she was arriving at the park and her foot was stuck in the pedals of her vehicle. She said as she was trying to get her foot unstuck, she accidentally pushed down on the accelerator pedal causing her to collide with a fencepost. |
| UUV – On August 13, 2025, at 1:49 pm, a resident reported his 22ft Max Built car trailer had been stolen from the 700 block of Clemens Mill Rd. He believed the trailer was taken some time between July 21-29 and was valued at $2500. Deputies later spoke with Philomath PD who explained the trailer was reported as an abandoned vehicle at the end of Landmark Dr on July 12. The trailer was tagged and ultimately towed on July 17. No suspect information is available. |
| ASSAULT 4 – On August 13, 2025, at about 6:10 AM, deputies were dispatched to an assault in the 5100 block of Highway 99W. Deputies spoke to a male who stated Glenda McDaniel, 77, bit his forearm. Glenda was later arrested for Assault 4 and transported to the Benton County Jail. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On Sunday, August 10th, 2025, at approximately 8:30 AM, deputies responded to a reported non-injury crash at Hwy 99W and SE Kiger Island Dr. A tow company reported that they were headed to a crash that occurred there. Deputies documented the crash and helped facilitate the tow. |
| RECKLESS DRIVING; ELUDE VEHICLE – On 08/08/2025 at about 10:59 p.m., deputies were made aware of a vehicle that had just been stolen from a gas station on North Albany Rd NW, Albany. Deputies located the vehicle, and it attempted to elude for about 35 miles. The driver Brennan McAdams, 62, was taken into custody and lodged at the Lane County Jail. |
| CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 – On August 7, 2025, at around 4:20pm, deputies were dispatched to McDonald Forest gate 100 for someone whose vehicle had been locked behind a gate. Deputies later unlocked the gate for a male who said he had not seen the “No Authorized Vehicles” sign posted next to the open gate. The male was warned about trespassing and was apologetic. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On 08/07/2025 at approximately 5:00 P.M., Benton County Sheriff`s Office Deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 99W and NE Arnold Avenue in Adair Village for a report of a multi-vehicle crash with injuries. Upon arriving at the scene, it was apparent that three total vehicles were involved in the crash. All drivers were uninjured, and all three vehicles had to be towed from the scene. |
| ACCIDENT OTHER NO INJ – On Monday, August 4, 2025, at around 1:20am, deputies were driving near Highway 20 and Milepost 5, Corvallis, when they noticed a black Toyota 4runner on the west shoulder of the road. The vehicle was unoccupied, and they could not locate the driver of the vehicle or the registered owner. It was removed from the scene by a tow company. |
| THEFT 2 DECEPTION – On August 2, 2025, at around 4:34pm, deputies were dispatched to the LEC Lobby for a report of Fraud. Deputies spoke with a resident who them they had Zelle`d $670 over the past two days to a man named “Charles Hathaway”, who alleged to be the landlord of a house in Corvallis posted to a Facebook profile named “Low Income House For Rent”. Deputies advised them this was likely an instance for Fraud, and they should contact their bank to try and halt the payments. |
| VIOL RELEASE AGREEMENT – On August 13, 2025, at 11:11 am, deputies were dispatched to the 5100 block of NW HWY 99W. A resident reported that Glenda Elizabeth McDaniel, 77, was at this residence, in violation of a release agreement, issued earlier in the morning. Deputies later arrested Glenda for Violation of a Release Agreement. Glenda was lodged in the Benton County Jail. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On August 13, 2025, at 7:34 am, deputies were dispatched to a reported hit and run that occurred on HWY 20, near Harlan Burnt Woods Rd. A male reported he was sideswiped by a loaded log truck while traveling eastbound on HWY 20. The driver of the log truck called OSP to report that the other driver had swerved into him. Deputies contacted and interviewed both involved drivers. |
| TOW, HAZARD – On 08/13/2025 at approximately 1:00 am, deputies were driving northbound on Highway 99W near Alpine Road when they observed a black Jeep Cherokee. The vehicle was parked in the lane of travel. Ultimately, the vehicle was a traffic hazard and towed. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On August 11th, 2025, at around 4:09PM, deputies were on patrol in the North Albany area when they observed Jacob Sokol, 49, sitting on the corner of North Albany Rd, and Est Lane. Sokol had a cite and release warrant out of Albany Municipal Court warrant for Criminal Trespass II. Sokol was cited and released on his warrant and provided a court date to appear. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Saturday, August 9, 2025, at about 11:50pm, deputies arrested Edith Marie Hunter, 52, and Darren Aubrey Keith, 57, in the 300 block of SW 3rd Street in Corvallis on misdemeanor warrants out of the Corvallis Municipal Court and the Lincoln County Circuit Court, respectively. At the request of the jurisdictions involved, Hunter and Keith were issued citations in lieu of custody and released. |
| FALSE INFO TO POLICE OFFICER; POSS METHAMPHETAMINE; WARRANT ARREST – On August 8, 2025, at 10:22 PM, deputies stopped Tony Delose Adams, 57, in front of the Super 8 Motel in Corvallis for a bike violation. Adams tried to lie about his name and was taken into custody. Adams was in possession of Methamphetamine and had several warrants for his arrest out of Marion County and Benton County. The Benton County Jail was closed so deputies transported Adams to the Marion County Jail and lodged him there on the warrants. Adams was cited for False Information to a Peace Officer and Possession of Methamphetamine. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On August 3rd, 2025, at around 10:23AM, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash at Springhill Drive, near mile post 4. Upon arrival, deputies located the driver standing on the side of the road and learned the crash had occurred the previous day. The driver said he was driving to a family barbecue and when he approached the corner, a black sedan came around the corner in the opposing direction and had crossed over into his lane of travel. He swerved to avoid the vehicle in his lane and the wheels caught the gravel on the shoulder of the road and pulled him into the ditch. His vehicle went down the embankment and flipped into a thick stretch of blackberries. All airbags were deployed, and he was uninjured. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On August 11, 2025, at approximately 12:15 pm, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash at Bellfountain Rd. and Lewell Rd. Philomath, OR. Driver 1 was traveling south on Bellfountain Rd. when driver 2 attempted to cross the road on Lewellyn. Driver 1 T-boned driver 2. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts, all airbags deployed and there were no injuries. |
| SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE – On 8/8/2025 at about 11:03 pm, deputies responded to the 25000 block of Kyle Rd. for a burning complaint. After further investigation, deputies contacted a resident who was burning garbage among other things in a pit behind his house. The Monroe Fire Department spoke with him about his burning. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On August 8th, 2025, at about 11:30 pm, deputies were assisting Deputy Ash in a theft investigation. During the investigation, deputies learned that Justin Denherder, 39, had a warrant out of the Linn County Circuit Court. Deputies located Denherder in the 300 block of NW 2nd Street in Corvallis. Denherder was criminally cited and released on his warrant. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Monday, July 28th, 2025, at approximately 12:00 PM, deputies conducted an investigation at the Benton County Courthouse at 120 NW 4th Street. Trent Andrew Lawson, 53, was found to have a misdemeanor FTA warrant from the Albany Municipal Court. He was cited to appear. |
| LITTERING; RECKLESS BURNING; CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3; CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2 – On Monday, July 28th, 2025, at approximately 10:58 AM, deputies responded to the Benton County Courthouse for reported arson in progress. Deputies contacted a male and investigated the incident. The male was trespassed from the property and the report forwarded to the Benton County District Attorney`s Office for charge considerations. |
| THEFT 2 – On Thursday, July 17th, 2025, at approximately 1:58 AM, a resident reported belongings had been stolen from the 2400 block of NW 9th Street, Monroe. There was no suspect information, and he was provided a ride to the Men`s Shelter in Albany. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On August 8th, 2025, at about 1:33 am, Daniel Hardy, 23, was arrested for a warrant in the 2600 block of NW 9th Street in Corvallis, Oregon. Hardy had a confirmed Felony Abscond warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court. Hardy was transported and lodged at the Benton County Jail. |
| CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2; WARRANT ARREST – On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at about 11:00pm, deputies arrested Steven Michael Tacheny, 49, near 5200 SW Philomath Boulevard in Corvallis, on a misdemeanor Corvallis Municipal Court warrant. Tacheny was cited in lieu of custody on his warrant, warned against continued trespassing, and released. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at about 8:40pm, deputies arrested Nina Marie Cassidy, 50, in the 200 block of SW 2nd Street in Corvallis on a misdemeanor cite-and-release warrant out of the Benton County Circuit Court. At the request of the warrant-issuing court, Cassidy was cited in lieu of custody and released. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On August 6, 2025, at 7:41 am, deputies were dispatched to Hwy 20 at Hwy 223 for a report of a log truck trailer that had tipped over. The driver attempted to turn westbound from HWY 223, when the rear log trailer tipped over, spilling its contents into the eastbound lane of HWY 20. Deputies directed traffic while the logs were cleaned up. |
| DWS MIS; FAIL RETURN SUSP DL – On Thursday, July 31, 2025, at about 7:10pm, deputies arrested Dane Harman Campbell, 55, in the 5800 block of Highway 99, Corvallis, for Criminal Driving While Suspended and Failure to Return a Suspended License. Campbell was issued citations in lieu of custody and released. |
| VIOL RELEASE AGREEMENT – On Friday August 8, 2025, deputies contacted Donald Godard, 78, at his residence regarding violation of his no contact order with a female. Godard was subsequently arrested and transported to the Benton County jail where he was lodged. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Friday, August 8, 2025, at about 7:00pm, deptuies arrested Sebastian Sousa Castellanos, 34, in the 2400 block of NW Rolling Green Drive, Corvallis, on a misdemeanor Benton County Circuit Court warrant. At the request of the warrant issuing court, Sousa Castellanos was cited in lieu of custody and released. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE NO INJ – On August 8, 2025, at approximately 12:36 pm, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury crash in the 24000 block of HWY 20 Philomath, OR. Driver 1 was stopped on the highway waiting for a vehicle to turn into their driveway when driver 2 rear ended him. All occupants were wearing their seat belts. Driver 1`s airbags did not deploy but driver 2`s did. There were no injuries. |
| ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY – On August 8, 2025, at 7:09 am, deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle injury traffic crash on HWY 20 at NE Granger Ave. Driver 1 was westbound on HWY 20, approaching NE Granger Ave. Driver 2 was on NE Granger Ave, attempting to turn left, onto HWY 20. Driver 2 crashed into the passenger side of Driver 1`s vehicle, causing it to flip onto its driver`s side. Driver 2 stated he did not see Driver 1`s vehicle, partially due to sun glare and the vehicle`s color. Driver 1 sustained right shoulder pain and was transported to GSH for an evaluation. |
| DOG AT LARGE – On Sunday, August 3, 2025, at approximately 12:55 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 28800 block of Blaze Drive for a dog complaint. According to dispatch notes, the caller`s chickens were being attacked by the neighbors` German Shepherds, and the dogs charged her husband. Deputies contacted the caller, her husband, and the roommate of the dog owners who said he would find and contain the dogs. |
| IDENTITY THEFT – On Sunday, August 3, 2025, at approximately 12:33 pm, deputies was dispatched to the 4000 block of SE Winslow Court for a report of fraud. According to dispatch notes, the caller reported a phishing scam. Deputies took a report and provided a case number. |
| SEARCH AND RESCUE NOT MISSING – On August 2, 2025, at approximately 2:01pm., BCSO Marine Deputies were dispatched to people on innertubes who were caught up with part of a tree in the Willamette River near river mile 119.5. They were in route from about river mile 131.5. Upon arrival, they witnessed two adults on innertubes caught up on a tree branch. Albany Fire Department personnel arrived on scene at the same time they did on their jet ski. AFD were able to get the two adults away from the hazard, without injuries, and transported them to Takena Landing. BCSO acted as a safety boat during the rescue. The innertubes were left at that location, and they were not able to recover them. |
| DWS MIS – On 08/01/2025 at approximately 10:40 P.M., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Dodge Avenger on 4th Street near Polk Avenue in Corvallis. The driver, Ivan Martinez-Morales, 21, was subsequently arrested for driving while suspended at the Misdemeanor level. Martinez-Morales was issued a citation in lieu of custody and had a friend pick him and his vehicle up from the scene. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On August 5, 2025, at around 12:26am, deputies stopped Micki Rae Englent, 41, on Hwy 34 near Ireland Ln. Englent was later arrested for numerous warrants and lodged at the Benton County Jail. |
| THEFT 2 – On August 5, 2025, at around 7:48 pm, deputies were dispatched for a theft in the 2000 block of SW 45th St. The resident stated four Taylor Made Stealth golf clubs valued at $700 were taken from his back patio area. No suspect info. |
| IDENTITY THEFT – On August 4th, 2025, at around 1:10PM, deputies spoke with a resident regarding a bank account that had been opened in her name. She received a notification that a Wells Fargo had been opened by someone using her SSN, old address, phone number and name. She immediately had the account closed and was not out any money. |
| ANIMAL/DOG COMPLAINT β On August 4, 2025, deputies transported a senior, female German Shepherd dog from Bellfountain Park in Monroe to the Heartland Humane Society where she was impounded. The dog was not micro chipped nor was she wearing a tag. |
| THEFT 2 – On Monday, August 4, 2025, at approximately 11:06 am, deputies were flagged down on Mary`s Peak Road near milepost 6 for a report of a theft. Deputies took information to be forwarded to Forest Patrol. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On August 3rd, 2025, at around 9:25, deputies observed Chase Kuske, 34, sitting on the steps in front of a building near 2nd street and Monroe. Deputies learned Kuske had a warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for failing to appear on a Disorderly Conduct. Albany Municipal Court provided a court date and time, and he was issued a criminal citation to appear. |
| THEFT 3 – On August 1, 2025, at approximately 9:11pm, deputies were dispatched to the 26600 block of Shady Oak Drive for a report of a theft. The caller reported that a rope he uses to get across his street was stolen. |
| DWS MIS; WARRANT ARREST – On August 1, 2025, at approximately 5:17pm, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of Alpine Road and Alpine Cutoff Road. The driver was identified as Jeremy Gamble, 43, who was the subject of multiple warrants. He was transported to the Lane County Jail. |
| ELUDE VEHICLE – On August 1, 2025, at approximately 8:52 am, a motorcycle eluded from deputies in the area of Springhill Dr. and Scenic Dr. Albany, OR. The pursuit was discontinued due to the motorcycle riding recklessly. |
| BURGLARY 2 – On Friday, August 1, 2025, at approximately 8:02 am, deputies were dispatched to a burglary which had occurred in the 100 block of E. Main Street and 100 block of N. 2nd Street, Alsea. The property owner checked on the properties Wednesday, July 30, 2025, and found damage. Juveniles responsible were identified. It was agreed between their parents and the property owner they would be doing volunteer work for the summer consequently. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Thursday, July 31st, 2025 at around 11:30pm, deputies arrested Tamera Lyons, 64, behind 333 Hickory St NW, Albany, for a Criminal Trespass warrant out of Lincoln County. Deputies issued her a citation in lieu of custody. |
| THEFT 2 LOST/MISLAID – On July 31, 2025, a male reported his wallet was stolen at the Benton County Fairgrounds. |
| ANIMAL OTHER – On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at about 7:40pm, deputies were dispatched to investigate an animal complaint at Crescent Valley High School. The reporting person found a road-struck bobcat at the High School. Deputies responded to the scene and euthanized the bobcat. |
| POSS METHAMPHETAMINE – On July 28th, 2025, at around 8:30AM, deputies arrested Nicole Patterson, 27, when in possession of .63 grams Methamphetamine. She was subsequently issued a criminal citation to appear in court. |

| ACCIDENT VEHICLE INJURY – On 8/1/2025 at about 1:20 am, deputies responded to the area of Highway 20 near Woods Creek Rd. for a single vehicle, injury crash. Further investigation determined the driver fell asleep at the wheel, sustaining minor injuries. |
| WARRANT ARREST -On 8/2/2025 at about 2:36 am, Antonia Coddington (35) of Corvallis, was arrested for outstanding warrants on the Highway 34 bypass. She was transported to the Benton County Jail and lodged. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On Saturday, August 2, 2025, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a beige 2000 Ford F-150 on Highway 20 near mile post 41 for a traffic violation. The passenger, Christina Goodenough, 42, was arrested for multiple fail-to-appear warrants. Goodenough was later issued criminal citations in lieu of custody and she was released. |
| WARRANT ARREST – On August 1, 2025, at 1:16 AM, deputies stopped Maddison Bonczkowski, 24, on SE 3rd Street near Twin Oaks Cricle in Corvallis for riding bicycles on the wrong side of the road. Bonczkowski had a confirmed cite and release warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for Contempt of Court, No bail. Bonczkowski was issued a new court date. |
